A surprisingly rude & off-putting experience.

I contacted this estate agent (Storrington Office) approx 9.15am on a Monday morning to enquire about a property.
A female told me that the property was likely unavailable due to much interest but I could leave my details incase it became available.
This was fine so far, as I had expected it to possibly be under offer.
However rather than waste hers or my time, I said I wished to ask a couple of questions about the property, she replied with something like 'well yes but quickly tho'.
I do not understand why the quickness? Surely it's normal to ascertain if a property is relevant before going any further!?!
I asked my brief questions quickly and received the answers I needed.
The female (who I won't call a lady and I didn't catch her name as she was in such a rush) then asked again if I would like to leave my details for this property.
I wanted to say 'no thank you as the property wasn't what i was looking for but could I register my details for other properties'
However I only managed a 'no...' before the female, said 'ok , thanks for your call, good bye'.
I was left speechless.
I do not understand why she rushed me off the phone. It was first thing on a monday morning, so surely she should be prepared for a new week of enquiries and welcome new clients.
I was made to feel like a child bothering someone at the wrong time in the wrong place.
(I have worked for an estate agent myself and we took pride in treating our enquires with patience and respect)
For reference, the call duration was just over 1 minute!
