My eldest loves visiting here. Would be nice if there was a bit more variation between sites but overall plenty to do and well organised.

We did the tree-top challenge at Grizedale, amazing experience! Special thanks to Dominic, our instructor, who was super patient and made us feel really safe. He was really encouraging & funny 😊. Beautiful landscape too 🤩
We purchased a not cheap voucher for my son and his partner and they then deiced to go travelling for 8 months when he came back he went through all his paperwork and post and realised he hadnt used the voucher, which ran out in February i tan this morning to a blunt no they can only extend if its two weeks over, why would someone want to extend if its two weeks over what sort of weird rule is that, so they take your money and give nothing in return nice people friendly system that is.
Staff were very friendly and helpful and it was a positive first trip👌.the tree top adventure was challenging for our family and it was a bonding experience 😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😄😃
It was our first Go Ape experience with Go Ape Temple Newsam, Leeds. I can’t express how amazing it was being there! We went as a family and Tom and Hope looked after us so much! They were nearby to support whenever we felt like we couldn’t do the challenges. They provided reassurance, gave tips and encouraged us constantly. Tom even respected my needs by even saying ‘Ma shā Allah’ after I took a step towards the challenge. The best part of being there was Tom and Hope, they are amazing and we need them there forever! Weekdays and weekends , we HOPE we can find TOM together. We will be coming back soon. We felt welcomed, we felt looked after and we loved every bit of it.
After I booked Go Ape, I wanted to change my booking and pay for a season pass instead. Go Ape would not accommodate this, because I had booked the night before. A lot of other companies allow customers to upgrade on the day and pay the difference for a season pass. Real shame Go Ape couldn't do this for us, considering I asked before the activity started via phone and when I arrived at the centre.
My Grandaughters both had a great day out at Hylands park Go Ape at Chelmsford, they were both well supported especially when Sophia became nervous on one of the sections, a big thanks to Kyle who went up and was great at gently reassuring and guiding her across to the other side. THANK YOU!
My daughters and I had a great day at Go Ape Thetford today. The staff are all amazing and really put you at ease. I wanted to especially thank the lovely instructor who came out to me when I fell on a bridge and helped me in. We will definitely visit again.
Me and my daughter had a lovely day a go ape Battersea can't remember all the name but all the staff we talk to was very helpful and lovely was a great time
I was not impressed with the organisation of the event and some of the staff at Go Ape Battersea. I took three 12 year olds for a session at 4pm. We were told to wait in an area off to the side and waited until after 4 for them to be seen. Even though we arrived early. Then I saw they had written 4:15 on our bands. We had come from Surrey to Battersea and were on a tight deadline. One person started the harness fittings and wandered off, another person came to continue then they wandered off. Finally a third person came and finished off the fastening. They left us waiting at areas with little or no instruction when we didn’t need to wait. I asked how long the event was and the lady said we don’t close until it’s dark. At one point I asked a member of staff for help and he said wait a minute. He talked to someone on his walkie talkie then completely ignored me. The kids were having a good time until we were told that was it, but there were still 2 loops left! After that the kids got behind a small girl who could hardly reach the line to get her carabina clip on! It’s like they didn’t even measure her. This caused a 30 minute delay getting across one line! They need staff to have exact roles and have more available to show you where to go next. We went to Battersea as the course was higher but after this I will only go back to the Chessington branch again where the staff were more friendly and helpful.
From the moment you put on the harness, it’s like your inner Tarzan takes over — except, you know, with fewer vines and more safety precautions.
But honestly? The zip lines alone are worth the price of admission. You'll zip from tree to tree, feeling like a superhuman... until you remember you're just a person who’s slightly afraid of heights.
The staff? Super chill. They’ll get you suited up, give you instructions, and then watch you scream in terror as you try to balance on a rope bridge. But they’re also really encouraging, so if you’re wobbling and considering a career change to the ground crew, they’ll remind you that you’re just one step away from being an expert in swinging through trees.
Pro tip: If you're scared, just scream louder — it’s not just for you, it's for everyone nearby who will appreciate your enthusiastic commitment to the experience.
You’ll leave feeling like a champion (or a very tired monkey). Can’t wait to do it again.
£122 for 2 adults and a child and that's with a discount.
What actual planet are you on?
Staff rude poor instructions not help for kids who didn't know what to do poor experience would not come back
My two kids did they Tree Top Challenge. It says it takes between 2hrs to 3hrs. It was done under 90 minutes. It also says it has 5 sites to do. The first one is not a site it's part of the safety briefing showing you how to use the gear. After booking fees (and excluding parking at Bedgbury) comes to £43pp which is terrible value for money for less than 90 minutes course.
We went to the Cannock site today, despite it being wet and cold, we had an amazing time! Would 100% recommend this to anyone who is up for a laugh, not afraid to get muddy and up for an adventure!
Aaron, our instructor, was fantastic! Did a great safety briefing, made it fun and can tell he loves his job!
Brought two tickets and had to reschedule. We were given a voucher for the cost and the attendant told us it would be valid for a year. We finally wanted to use it around 9 months later and was told it was valid for 6 months instead. Due to the misinformation given to us by their incapable staff we have now lost out on just under £100. The representative we spoke to over the phone didn’t care and was quite dismissive over the phone. We’ve never been and we definitely will not be going due to how they’ve treated us.
Vistited go ape ( Sherwood pines ) today, just me and my husband o for our wedding anniversary and took part in the treetop challenge. It was great fun and the staff member who was with us was called honey and she was great - very friendly
Enjoyed the experience thoroughly. However, at one point I didn’t stick one of the landings as my shoe fell off and needed assistance. So I was helped back onto the platform by one of the female employees, afterwards a ginger-haired male employee from down below said “Hey, problem man… what’s your name?” I asked him why and eventually gave him my first name. He then asked my last name to which I again asked why and did not tell me. I was left confused and later on saw him on the plummet, where he further gave me attitude because I didn’t understand the safety procedures he was explaining to me. My group didn’t experience any attitude from him apart from me which was quite frankly strange and made things awkward. I don’t know why he needed my name even still… especially my last name.
Kind Regards,
“Problem Man” aka Ash
We had an amazing time at Go Ape (High Lodge) for our company’s 20th anniversary celebration. The Treetop Challenge was a real highlight – tough but so much fun, and everyone felt safe and supported by the staff throughout. The Segwaying was a great way to explore the forest and added something different to the day.
The whole experience was well organised, and the team made sure we all had a fantastic time. It was a great day of adventure and bonding – perfect for a corporate event. Highly recommend Go Ape for a memorable day out!
I’m extremely disappointed with an experience I had with you earlier today at Blackburn.
The adventure started with over 30minutes delay, so we’ve been waiting for 45min + considering that we were there 15min in advance as recommended. The place was very mismanaged and clearly understaffed, with none providing any sort of service or information during the wait. When they finally showed up, they didn’t even say sorry for the wait or anything similar. Once approached afterwards, they didn't acknowledge the issue and pretended it was just a small delay. This was my first time and, needles to say, it’ll be my last - not worth the money at all! I hope this feedback will help get your disappointing yet expensive service right.

My son, William (Pickle) took his "Cub of the Month" bear for an end of Summer Holiday treat to Go Ape. Raven, the instructor who fitted his harness and was supervising the course, was absolutely amazing. Really friendly and helpful, and supportive when some of the other children needed a bit of encouragement. Would highly recommend this branch of Go Ape to anyone. Fantastic team and lovely facilities.
