Do not use this company they are scammers

THIS COMPANY ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE!! DO NOT USE!!

They quoted me £69 over the phone to let my elderly mother into her house when she was locked out. They then demanded £295 on the spot from her when they got there.

CRIMINALS!!!!

Please do not use this awful company, we have had the misfortune of having to use them recently when we got locked out, when the guy arrived he said it would cost us £150, he drilled out the lock replaced it with a new one, then asked for £480!! We almost keeled over but what could we do? We had to pay it, the next day, the lock failed and we once again couldn't open the door, my husband phoned the guy who had fitted the lock and he said he would come out and fix it.....he didn't turn up, I messaged him and got no response, my husband then phoned the office number the chap he spoke to assured us that he would look into it, he didn't, I then phoned and spoke to the same man and he said he would look into it and phone me back and once again nothing happened, I hate the thought that these people have got away with this, we have since paid out again to get the lock fixed, apparently when the lock was drilled out, the whole mechanism was destroyed so he had to replace the whole thing. I have reported Godalming Locksmith to the Master Locksmith association and they in turn have suggested that I report the issue to our MP because apparently anyone can call themselves a locksmith, they don't have to achieve any qualifications so perhaps it's time for the law to change, these people ripped us off and I don't want it to happen to anyone else.
