On the 8 September we had a Champagne Lunch on the Northern Belle. Could not fault the service or the train itself. Absolutely fabulous. Food was excellent although the rolls with the soup were not fresh. We picked up the train from Ipswich and had a panic moment when non of the staff on the platforms knew the NB was coming but luckily we bumped into one of the performers due to board the train who had all the info we needed. All in all we had a wonderful time and would certainly recommend this special day out.

Took the trip to Chichester. The Ione carriage was beautiful. Debbie and Mitch who looked after us were fabulous. The service and food and drink amazing. The production of The sound of music in Chichester theatre worthy of the West End and spent time meeting lovely people. Fab day out would recommend it to anyone.

The whole experience was first class the staff were very attentative helpful,and very friendly.The food was wonderful this was my 60th Birthday celebration with my wife, the trip to Bath was good unfortunately the weather was not good lots of rain.The staff names were Rebecca who is a stewardess for BA was lovely and Paul the head waiter was great ,there were others who were so friendly, will never forget this great experience

All aspects of the trip were first class. Staff attentive, food glorious carriage superb. The entertainment was timely and just enough. The timetable was kept but not rushed in any way. Very minor issues were an out of service wc and the onboard tannoy was faulty so announcements were inaudible. However these did not detract from an extremely enjoyable experience which we will never forget . Thank you to all concerned.

From the moment myself and my companion set foot in the Phoenix carriage on the British Pullman until we alighted some four hours later it was like being transported back to the halcyon days of rail travel. We were treated like absolute royalty.

Our afternoon tea experience will live long in the memory. From the attentive steward to the hard working waitress who kept us constantly supplied with champagne and tea (not forgetting the amazing close up magician who performed some mind boggling magic) it was an incredible experience.

The never ending supply of sandwiches and cakes were absolutely scrumptious, while the convivial atmosphere and wonderful setting only added to the ambiance of the occasion.

I would have no hesitation in adding this amazing experience to a 'must do' list.

My 90 year old mum in law and I had champagne afternoon tea on Sunday 16th July and couldn’t have wished for a better experience. The staff were friendly and the service delivered was exemplary. The food was delicious but wish we had been offered a doggy bag for those with smaller appetites. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

A trip on the Northern Belle from Cardiff to Hampton Court flower show was excellent, a gift from our family for our 50th wedding anniversary. Golden moments booked the trip on their behalf and we were kept well informed about any changes. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent service, food and very friendly staff on the Northern Belle. Highly recommend.

Used a Golden Moments voucher our daughter gave my wife for her 70th birthday in April 2021. Covid delayed us booking then my wife got ill and we had to wait until her surgery and radio theropy had completed. When we actually got round to book it the 5 course brunch train journey had been ceased so we had to book another trip. So we chose a Pullman Train trip round Kent with a 5 course lunch. This cost us another £250 on top of the £470 voucher. Anyway we went on the trip and were treated royally. Met at Victoria Station by friendly and knowledgeable staff + singers. Train was superb with quality all through it. Train staff were excellent and looked after us really well for the whole 5 hours. Food was top notch and there was none stop drinks.
The only one gripe I have is that it was not that scenic. We spent a lot of time on tracks that were in gullies and all we saw was bushes and trees. The train was also travelling at very high speed which did make looking out of the window at the bushes a little nauseous. Drinking and eating was difficult at times aswell. However for the occasion, atmosphere, service and all round experience it was excellent.

The ambiance was fantastic. All the little things like the guy singing at Victoria to the real care and attention by the train staff. More than just waiters they gave and told about the whole experience 100%

Staff were very polite and welcoming on our arrival.
Once on the train Sarah and Adam were the perfect hosts to everyone on board our carriage. Food was excellent and drinks non-stop. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his 80th Birthday on the Pullman and we will be arranging future trips.

It only got one star because I couldn't give less. This company does not arrange your experience. They take your money ,when you say we're you want to go they just buy what they on the courses site which you can do. I was told they have no agreements with any course. Unlike other companies. And I spoke to the manager who just speaks over you. RUDE

Brilliant experience from the minute we arrived at Victoriia.Excellent attention from all staff and the food top class. The added entertainment was unexpected but most enjoyable. All connected with Golden Moments have every reason to feel proud of their service.

From the onset of our trip we were made to feel so welcome.The stewards were so attentive even though they had a very busy task with a carriage full of couples etc just the same as us.We were made to feel as though the whole experience was exclusively tailored to the quality of our participation.The journey to and from Blenheim Palace was enhanced by excellent meals well timed throughout.Such a wonderful way to mark a special day

Absolutely superb day out. Good value for money, food was excellent and the staff were wonderful

We boarded The Phoenix carriage to celebrate my wife's 65th birthday looking forward to an experience that neither of us had done before. I have to tell you that it was an amazing day, and the whole affair, from the time you enter the British Pulman Office, to the time you finally alight the train, being said goodbye to by 2 of the most friendly and professional Stewards, by the names of Rocko and Adam is second to none. The chance to dress up and immerse yourselves in the luxurious surroundings of the beautiful 1920's train carriage, with 5 star food and drink, and a mystery acted out by fantastic actors is an experience second to none. Thank you British Pulman and all staff who make it possible.

Had the most amazing day on the Murder Mystery Pullman which I organised for my best friend’s 60th birthday, as a surprise.
From the moment we arrived at the check in hall to the end of our journey it was fabulous. We were seated in Audrey carriage and our server was Mitchell. He was fantastic. Very attentive and information and extremely funny and friendly. Our five course meal was exquisite and they took our allergies and dislikes seriously.
The murder suspects acted well and we tried to work out the Who Done It with their help.
All in all it was a fantastic day and although expensive, well worth the money.
Would definitely do it again.

Had a great time at the Guinness Storehouse, made easier and affordable by Golden Moments UK. They were quick to help us out when our dates changed, even though it was over the new year bank holidays.

This was a birthday surprise for a friend, who’s birthday fell the week we had our planned journey.

The Northern Belle Train was excellent, great experience with very attentive staff, great food and presentation and portions were sufficient. Not keen on the Christmas Pudding Cheesecake, as seemed quite a few onboard, but that was down to personal taste.

The rest of the menu was very much enjoyed.
Warm, comfortable and nostalgic carriages that were very welcoming on a winter’s day. We were given the Belvoir Carriage. Loved the cushions.

However, I wouldn’t recommend the Blenheim Palace at Christmas excursion.

The decoration was excellent inside, but you couldn’t see the contents of the rooms for tinsel, tress, lights and effigies. You walk through approx. 5 rooms excluding the entrance hall, all within 25 minutes and you are out.

Winter being winter gave heavy rain and winds, so no one was brave enough to look around the Christmas market.

We had over 2 hours to kill, huddled in the coffee shop with three more entire coach travellers and other tourists sheltering from the rain. A poor experience with not enough seating, and of course, not enough staff.

Nevertheless, the Northern Belle was enjoyed and we were relieved to get back onboard to enjoy a long dinner, drinks and conversation with our table neighbours.

Good wine, good food, excellent service, comfortable historic carriages – weather not guaranteed.

An utterly fantastic day from start to finish. The atmosphere began to unfold with the Spitfire Sisters, amazing! The heritage and elegance of the Belmont made for a very luxurious experience. The staff were attentive, professional, very welcoming and friendly all our needs were met and beyond. The characters of the Murder Mystery were truly amazing and made for a very entertaining journey. The whole experience took us completely out of our everyday lives, great laughs! The food was outstanding. I would highly recommend this experience. Very, very special day X

I bought this trip for my wife as part of our 50th wedding anniversary, my first contact was with Ralph who took time to find the the type of journey that suited my requirements on this magnificent train, so big thanks to you Ralph.
From first entering the carriage and feeling like you stepped back into a very elegant age in time is in itself quite wonderful, all the staff looking immaculate in their uniforms, and taking care of every detail. The food is also worth a 5 * rating.
All-in-all a most wonderful day and looking forward to booking another trip sometime in the future
