This is my second order with Gong in 3 years and once again I received a super good and professional service. I forgot to order some parts and asked customer service for advice and support. We temporarily stopped the order to make it just right. Now I will hit the water with the right gear taylored to fit my experience level...great!

EDIT No.3: The vest has now been returned to me with the faulty padding replaced with more substantial foam, a shame they didn't just offer to do this in the first place!
EDIT No2: So having returned the vest to Gong at my own expense they are still refusing to honour the warranty, now claiming that the shrunken padding was caused by my own mistreatment of the vest (storing it badly (I keep it on a hanger 🤔) or washing it above 40 deg C - who machine washes neoprene!?) I have since replaced it with a RideEngine HF Defender which has much better protection for the whole torso including an extra layer of stab protection.
EDIT: After more correspondence with Gong (and before they read this review) they have offered for me to return the Impact Vest for inspection so it's now on the way back to them.
(I'd also like to clarify that I do not blame Gong or the vest for the accident I had whilst dock starting!)
I've always been quite happy with Gong equipment and customer service but not this time. I recently noticed that some of the padding/bouyancy in the Impact Vest I bought from them about 9 months ago has shrunk to about half it's original size and so is no longer doing the protective job it was designed to do. I contacted them asking for a refund so I could replace it but they have refused to honour the warranty. Gong does great kit when it works but don't expect them to honour the warranty if it becomes defective.

Had an awful time with delivery of an inflatable wing board with DPD. Gong rescheduled with DHL who provided a very fast delivery.
The customer service from Gong, in particular Antoine who responded promptly and ensured I received the board, was as good as you could ever wish for. Very stoked with the whole Gong experience, and will be back for more!!
Miss Marion from Gong gave me great advice. Not only she explained why there are different types of foil and what are their relevant features but she also took note of my expertise level and actually told me which one to buy. It is always good too know the whys and how's but sometimes its good to have someone that tells you exactly which choice is the best for you. Very good service, and very much on time. The answers to my questions came the next morning!
I've never reviewed a company before where I haven't yet received my goods!
However, the service I have received from GONG in dealing with my damaged in transit goods has been fantastic.
Surfboard ordered to the UK (which post Brexit is no longer simple). Arrived damaged and rejected on delivery.
GONG'S comms have been A1 from placing the order through to dealing with resolving the issue and organising refunds on my P&P and UK import costs, making me feel in safe hands.
Further, being my first GONG board, I was hugely impressed with the actual quality & finish of the board.
Such a shame the delivery company wrecked it!
I have every faith GONG will look after me and resolve all issues. Will use again without doubt.

Absolute waste of money 2 paddles broke second was carbon told it was my fault. Broke on first stroke, refuse to replace or refund but hay gave me 30% off buying another rubbish one. If you use their stuff their is no warranty be warned

Packages came intact from France.
Thick cardboard, flexi-hex packaging, no dents (excellent shipping company), earlier by 1 day, complete.

1st attempt of the GONG helmet delivery was not successful, with unknown reason. After several email exchange they have delivered new GONG helmet with different delivery agency. 2nd attempt was fast and successful!

I recently bought my second board from GONG.
My first was good with no trouble at all but I wanted to progress into something new.
Obviously I couldn’t wait for the new board to arrive even though the weather is still to cold so I won’t be using it for a while.
After ordering GONG gave me clear instructions what to check when the board arrived from the transport company. I needed to check the board for any damage before signing otherwise there was no warranty.
I still find it a strange that it works this way and the Dutch company that handles the transportation said they won’t allow me to take time and check before signing.
Unfortunately the box arrived with a big hole in it and I could see the board from outside the box. Since GONG had such clear instructions I refused the box and it got returned to sender.
I directly got in contact with GONG and they were very helpful. They verified my story with the transport company and once they confirmed a new board was send without the first arriving back at the depot.
I hope the second one will arrive in good shape and I can’t wait to get it out in the water soon. And I want to thank GONG for the quick reply and helpful solution to make me a happy customer.
