Advice regarding walking shoes
I only went into Altrincham branch to buy some new rubber plugs for my walking stick.I spoke to Christine, and she gave me useful and relevant information regarding a different product, (walking shoe Merrell) even though I had no intention of buying anything else, during that visit.
Subsequently, I returned to the shop, and bought the shoes Christine recommended with wonderful help from Claire

Lovely experience in Go Outdoors Altrincham today. Claire was very helpful, advised on anything needed, genuinely couldn’t have been happier with Claire’s service, she was lovely! Enjoyed having a little chit chat
There was also another male worker in the shop who was also delightful!

Great Service
Phoned up to see if they had any wellies in stock. Jade took the call - asked what sizes and confirmed they were in stock. When I arrived at the shop she remembered the call and had already retrieved a variety of wellies in the sizes needed and they were waiting for us.

Map purchase
Rang the store a couple of days ago to confirm stock of OS map and spoke to a very helpful person who confirmed price and stock level.

A Berghaus storm cloud jacket was £120 in this store. On Amazon you can get them for £85. Have to be a member for discount. Member of what....It's a shop that scams people. The old guy assistant was very odd. Constantly walking by me while I was looking around. Overpriced and not welcoming.
