Great knowledgeable staff!
Mariam - in the walking boots department - was amazing.
I explained a problem with my son's feet and the support he needed, and she immediately was able to recommend things that would help.
We came away with a pair of boots which he is really comfortable in, and straight away walked 7 miles, by the end of which he was much better supported than in any previous boots.
Great staff make such a difference!!

I have visited Go Outdoors many times…
I have visited Go Outdoors many times and had a very average shopping experience. However today (August 2026 Bank Holiday) the customer service was excellent. Each time I asked for a size it was found quickly and with helpful comments about the product. Also Mariam the person who helped me went out of her way with information about various different brands and found me exactly what I had been looking for. I will definitely return to the Brislington store again and recommend Go Outdoors to friends and certainly in the Shoe/boot dept where Miriam was so helpful

Website said low stock
Website said low stock, placed order, it got cancelled. Then showed stock (not low stock) so ordered again. Refunded again as no stock. Warehouse needs to check stock and keep website up to date. Really annoyed.

Staff member updated the system in store to show the item had been collected, when I hadn’t been to store. I had to waste quite an amount of time with head office and store (mainly really long queue times!) to get it resolved.
Lady who resolved in the end was very helpful, but I’d wasted almost an hour by that point.
