I came in today looking for a pair of new hiking/ trail shoes! Anthony explained how to retreat my current ones correctly and there wasn’t a need for me to buy a new pair! I asked him about a waterproof jacket and his knowledge was extensive. I left with a new jacket and the correct product for my boots

I turned up at Go Outdoors Cardiff in dire need of help after having accidentally purchased a bike that was comically far too small for me, from elsewhere, a couple of days before a planned 7 day cycle tour! Anthony was incredibly helpful and not only helped source me a correct size bike, he fitted it with all the additional items that I'd purchased for the other bike (drinks holders, pannier rack etc) whilst being very kind and professional, and allowing me to now go onto my planned trip. Couldn't be more thankful!

Joe was really helpful, pleasure to deal with. Fully explained the process and promised to push the bike through as quick as possible.

We were served by Mel and other staff who all couldn’t do enough for us. We came in with four very active children and a dog and we were only planning to have a quick look and then come back when we were child free but the staff were so helpful we left with a tent , beds, sleeping bags and camping chairs. We also had issues with our card at checkout and Mel was calm and helped us workout putting the transaction through. All whilst keeping the kids entertained. We were then helped to the car by Mel who honestly couldn’t do enough. We will be back next for our cooking equipment x

Good quality products. Staff are always helpful. There is a glitch with the new ordering system - the communication between head office and the store meant that we were not notified that the products were ready for collecting.

James, the GO Outdoors assistant who ran the evening session for the Brownies and Guides, was incredibly informative and built an amazing rapport with the children. They especially loved learning about pop-up tents, choosing the right sleeping bag sizes, and practising how to put tents up. His enthusiasm and knowledge made the whole experience fun, engaging, and very educational.
