GO Outdoors - Chester Reviews 

Item arrived at store a couple of days after my order. I was not informed nor could I track it in shop. I phoned the shop after a week and was told if I hadn't been contacted then it hadn't arrived. Fortunately I contacted the shop a second time and spoke to Simon who went to the trouble of actually looking and it was there. All credit to him. Communication on your part needs investigating

I ordered walking boots online for my partner , there was a good offer with an extra 20% off .picked up instore the next day , staff were very helpful. Very pleased with the purchase .

Carl went out of his way to source a replacement rim for my bike. Work completed to a high standard.

I went into your store today 17/10/26 to return a pair of shoes. This was dealt with by Paul in a very friendly and professional manner. He was extremely knowledgable about alternative products and nothing was too much trouble for him. I left purchasing something on his recommendation. Great example to all his staff!

Went in to Chester Saltney store to have a look for 2 bikes for my grandchildren today. The guy on the bike section was called Carl well what a polite, patient man he was so so helpful never rushed me answered all my questions showed me the height chart went through the colours and everything I needed to know. So lovely to go into a store and have such lovely acknowledgment.

I needed some new walking boots and was unsure which ones would be best for me. Jo was so very helpful and I really appreciated her expertise and honesty.

Very easy to place the order. Quick response back. Goods arrived in store. Received a text to let me know goods were in.

Incredible customer service. I went in to grab some new walking boots and a bag. The bag was labelled incorrectly and both Shaz (on the till) and another lad helped me so much get the bag I wanted without making it seem I was bothering them or causing an issue. Shaz also I just felt went above and beyond helping me when it came to paying allowing me to use my student discount etc and was just so patient. All the staff served us with a smile on their faces and it really brightened my day! Thank you to Shaz and the other person who helped me (sorry I didn’t catch his name)

To be honest, when we visited the store in Chester the staff were ok, not rude or impolite, but just not as helpful as I thought they would be. I wanted to buy a family member a jacket that had to be waterproof and lightweight and was told by a couple of staff where to find them and they were scattered around a bit. I asked if one coat would be more waterproof than another was told that it probably would be. When I did eventually find one and pay for it it was placed on the counter and I had to then ask for a bag. Good store, lots of stuff to choose from, big carpark, a membership scheme, top brands etc but just not a great shopping experience. 4 stars could easily have been 5 stars. But it wasn't.

Reviewing to thank a fabulous member of staff.
Our family have awkward shape feet, so shoe shopping is rarely straightforward. Looking for new walking shoes was made so much easier with the help from Jo. She had great knowledge of the stock carried and which brand, and model suits which needs.

I had an issue regarding a gift card and a receipt. The lady who served me alongside the manager could not have been more helpful. They went above and beyond providing exemplary customer service. They explained clearly and did all they could to support me resolve the issue.
