Gorilla Sheds had been recommended to me by the landscaping company I was using for a garden redesign at a local hospice.
Have to say from my initial contact, to meeting Richard at the factory unit where the sheds are manufactured, to the installation of the shed, the process was extremely smooth. In fact I went back a couple of times with various questions & all were answered & advice provided. Lots of alternatives were offered to - different roof coverings, styles of doors, wood treatments etc
On the day of installtion the guys turned up exactly on time & just cracked on building it. I'd defintely use Gorilla Sheds again for a project or my own garden. Many thanks guys!

Richard and his team were fantastic. I needed my shed insulated, and since I’m local, they were able to install the frame floor in one day and return two days later to complete the rest.

That timing made all the difference to the result I wanted. They were professional, punctual, and their communication was excellent.

Purchased an Elite 12 x8 from Costco. Overall construction looks good, however, the trim around the door was installed such that a there was a gap at the bottom of the door. The Salt Lake City showed up twice to examine the install and finally said the design behind it is not designed to close the gap. I saw NO gap on the Elite shed constructed in the Costco where purchased. You would think the installer (13 years experience)could install straight door trim.

Had a great experience with Gorilla sheds wanted a sturdy shed and erected. Great price and good quality. Turned up on time was erected quick with no fuss. Workers were polite and curtious. Would have no hesitation in reccommding this company.

The experience with Richard from Gorilla Sheds was second to none. The shed I specified arrived on April 3rd 2025 as promised with Richard, David and team.
They set to work to form the base using ground screws and once that was completed the erection of the shed took place. Within a few hours of work they had completed the job.
The shed I now have is absolutely brilliant and doing the job it was intended for.
All it remains for me to say, is that I am very pleased with the service from Richard from start to finish. I must point out I started conversations with Richard in late 2024 and finally had the shed fitted in April 2025. Every conversation I had with Richard was always reassuring and he was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Where do I start?

My original old 10x8 apex shed lasted 27 years and was dying a death rapidly. I needed a replacement and preferably larger.

I looked at so many sites and few gave me much confidence. A couple caught my attention but one really did so. This was based on excellent YouTube video of the installation of a 12x10 apex shed by Gorilla Sheds. Email exchanges and a comprehensive breakdown of options and costs followed.

I would need to enlarge the existing concrete raft foundation but Richard advised that they could use "ground screws" to provide an extended support beyond the existing ffotprint and then construct a pressure treated sub frame of that and then build the new shed.

The guys arrived bang on time from Essex to our location in the Thames Valley and within three and a half hours I had an excellent and amazing shed - just as I had wanted for quite some time.

It came pre-treated with Barretine waterproof sealant [subsequently treated with additional Barretine dark Wood Preserver]. I have further lined it fully with OSB, built a bench, racking from Costco and a diamond pattern rubber floor.

Perfection.

I am delighted with the customer service [second to none], quality of the shed and not the least that Richard allowed me to use his drone - great fun.

Would I recommend ? Without any hesitation.

We could not be more disappointed in the Gorilla shed we purchased from COSTCO online this spring. The ads promise a professional team of installers, we received one local person- not even sure they are a contractor, that left the shed unlevel, despite a licensed contractor laying a level gravel pad the day before. Chewed up door edges, patchwork-roof- mislayed with excessive overhang is some areas, and short of the roof line in others. Door that does not latch with gaps in/on doors as if the wood is warped. Poor quality, poor install. Requesting a full refund. Disputing this with Costco and my credit card.

Really pleased with the process from start to end. Richard was so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The shed is such nice quality and the guys who installed it were professional and friendly too. Plus it was very well priced! I highly recommend!

We are very happy with our new 10 x 3 Pent Shed and the ground screw base - it fits perfectly in the space we had at the end of the garden.

This time Richard made me a lovely Summerhouse. It is well made and fits in beautifully into our garden. From first contact, discussing exactly what I wanted right through to constuction and delivery the service is excellent, timely and professional. No complaints and a sensible price.

After much research, and viewing the quality of a neighbour's Gorilla shed, I chose this company. The price/quality combination was favourable.
Ordering was simple, and Richard wisely suggested 3 windows, instead of 4, to allow for shelving.
I created my own base frame from left over fence posts and was assisted in accurate measurements to accommodate the floor size and, importantly, the direction of floor joists by Richard.
I needed an early delivery time on the day, which was arranged. From the time of arrival, carrying through two neighbours' gardens (fence panels removed) to full assembling a 12 x 8 reverse apex took one hour.
I went for the thicker 16mm tongue & groove and am impressed by its quality and sturdiness.
Coated in high quality Barrattine preserver , which I will reapply periodically.
This shed will definately outlast me.
Now, can I keep it tidy!!
