This site says it offers an EMERGENCY…

This site says it offers an EMERGENCY GRANT and says it takes 4 - 6 weeks to reply. They require all sorts of documents and references with your application, which is fine. I sent everything they asked for. 6 months later they asked me to send more references, the same documents etc. I did. Then they wanted more again, and again. Finally 7-8 months after I had applied I was refused.
I know this is at their discretion, but I met every single criteria, and more. I sent 9 references, about 40 pages of proof and much more. I showed I had an emergency that was not my fault (I was given contaminated water abroad which caused cancer). I showed that I needed help. Again - everything they wanted.
Had they refused me within the 4-6 weeks they specify I would not have thought about it, but as they kept coming back for the same information over and over and so long later refused, I can only believe this is some sort of con to make fun of people in need - as that is what they did to me.
