Great value for money
The booking process was easy. The price was great. The only issue was that the hotel we booked (Mirage Bleu, Zante) was not as expected - it was rated as a 5 star but fell short, and we were informed we would get a massage but there was no spa facility. But, neither spoilt our holiday- we felt we got great value for money. Would definitely use Great Value Holidays again and likewise, would return to Mirage Bleu.

Porto and the Douro valley
Had a really nice time just let down when they forgot to pick us up when we returned to Porto from Pinhão. Soon rectified after a phone call! Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. A really good trip.

A very well organised tour
A very well organised tour. The hotels were excellent (though the one in Porto could have been a bit nearer the city centre) , all the transfers worked seamlessly, the train used heritage rolling stock (a nice surprise).
We had been considering going on a Douro cruise but this package offers most of that experience for a fraction of the cost. In fact I think it was a much more immersive experience. Portuguese people are so friendly and helpful!

Resort well laid out
Resort well laid out, beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Room very comfortable. The resort is a good place to chill out but it is rural and requires taxis to get anywhere. The all-in package was great with food and drinks.

The Grazia Alla Scanella is a brilliant hotel in a stunning location with unreal views of the sea. The staff are all friendly, attentive and seriously competent. The food is delicious and possibly too plentiful(!).
The island of Ischia continually surprised us - unspoilt, utterly Italian and charming.
All of Imperator’s admin lined up nicely and we had a fantastic 5 night holiday.
We intend to return.

The meals were exquisite except not much choice for vegetarians The town of Sisi has everything one needs , restaurants , bars etc . We would definitely choose Great value hotels again .

Good holiday, beautiful location if you want peace & quiet. A little way out from the airport , 2 hours on coach/ minibus but taken as part of the experience & the scenery was lovely.

All the booking process and arrangements went smoothly and worked well: flights, transfers, hotel.
Hotel was excellent; in a beautiful, very peaceful location with its own beach front. Great views.
Food always good, plenty of choice, veggies catered for.
In May, not many activities; not much to do in Orebic.
