Lots of great Green King pubs but when you let them know in regards to shocking behaviour from landlords in their name they do not take any responsibility. I was told the proprieters lease from them and can run there pub how they wish. I was asked if i wanted my name and number passed ro the landlords to deal with the matter. Very bizarre as a landlord and pub is a reflection on the brewery, they in in a trusted position and these were extremely abusive to staff and customers via telephone whilst paralytic at home and shut there pub at 11:40 on new years eve. The staff were in tears, the language and behaviour shocking

We are new resident to heathly Park. Had been there previously for a meal and had No issues was greeted by a lovely lady the evening was great. This time booked a table online at 7.30pm for my family. We arrived there 7.41. As we were approaching the door at least 2 people was in front. Saw us approaching and dispersed. We waited at the front for about 3 minutes. The tone of the teenage brat was absolutely disgusting. (how can I help you. Do you have a booking?) No one has ever spoken to me like this even a local chip shop has a SMILE and courteous. I will never recommended nor will ever step there again. I completely appreciate we are late ment to be there for 7.30 un aware that the kitchen close at 8pm (so I was told) However she has no right to talk to anyone like that. And of course they seemed very happy when we left. My daughter 19, noted as well she was very rude and out of order. Rang Effes Mangal immediately got a booking and had a fantastic evening. As always the staff are fantastic!

(Would not even give 1 star if I could) Carr Mill St.Helens is worst pub ever management want sacking they are rude and ignorant, no customers service at all. They think they can talk to customer with no respect, might bully their staff but not putting up with it as a customer. Greene King need to look at who they are employing as I was going in every week spending quite a bit of money, well will not be getting anymore.

The pub is filthy and cleanliness of toilets is disgusting, you know the saying dirty toilets dirty pub!!

If I could give zero stars I would. We visited Whistling Goose - Hull.
We went for a quick bit to eat for our sons 3rd Birthday. The pub wasn't overly busy with just another 5 or 6 tables occupied. After waiting 50 minutes for the food to finally arrive (there was only 3 of us so it wasn't like it was a big party) we tucked into our meals. I had the Jamaican dish which is the speciality - to their credit this was very nice. However, my wife had the chicken platter, she couldnt eat all 6 of the chicken wings so I had some of them too.... we then felt shocking on the night and was throwing up and on the toilet for the next day with food poisoning. We shall certainly never be going back to Whistling Goose again!

Absolutely shocking manager Laura, got served a shocking mixed grill and then completely tried to embarrass my family as a way of trying to resolve......

VINE INN OWER,ROMSEY.Manageress couldn't care less...so unhelpful.
Two waitresses worked hard to please...no staff at bar to serve.Zero temperature outside...no heating or fires going.
Wife spent whole meal in overcoat.
Won't be returning

Visited beehive twice recently the cavery was disgusting dry and look like it had been sitting there a while. Management very rude won't be returning dreadful

Once again the pub was ruined with a number of young children (around 18 months to 5 years old) running around the pub shouting and screaming uncontrolled except for a couple of loud mothers occasionally screaming at them to stop it, which of course the kids ignored. I don't mind kids in pubs except when they treat it as a playground and interfere with other adults. It neede the staff to politely intervene and request that the mothers controllede their offspring. Apart from that it was a pleasant experience even though I didn't get my 10% off with my Season Ticket depite the barman having to type in the number as the reader was not working., you owe me £2.87 Greene king

Visited the Shakespeare next to Victoria station, London.

The quality of food seems a common theme here and I wish I had read reviews sooner.

Somehow with about five items on the breakfast menu they still managed to screw things up.

We had two meals and I wish I would have taken pictures now. My friends was toast with what might aswell have been plastic, uncooked, display scrambled egg and a all day breakfast where literally nothing was cooked... Not even the slightest bit warm and the bacon/sausages were unbearable.

I honestly regret taking a single bite because that one bite gave me food poisoning.

We complained but nothing came of it. Just a hesitant, half hearted "sorry I'll tell the chef". Not even a offer to actually serve a cooked meal or refund the money.

Absolutely nothing.

I just don't know how they could serve that kind of food and find it acceptable. If I served a customer anything like that myself I'd have been embarrassed.

If you don't take some level of pride in what you do for a living, just don't do it.

If I could have rated zero starts I honestly would have.

Might be worth taking notes about your reviews guys. There are many here that mention how bad the food is.

The William Camden in Bexleyheath last very face lift and paint job but same old rubbish:
I got a San Miguel in a Madri glass and a Madri in a San Miguel glass which isn’t the end of the world ordered a kg of wings and was told half hour wait for food Friday night it’s busy not the end of the world had to point to the table as the number was missing when I ordered. After 50 minutes the wrong food arrived pfft explained it was not what I ordered3 times the food was brought back to the table. Eventually the manager came over I explained the above and was offered a refund which I politely refused as I just wanted what I ordered the manager then tells me it will be another half an hour for my correct order to be made, I asked as it was their mistake could the make this quicker and was told other customers were waiting for food so no. Took the refund left the pub never going back it’s just the same old rubbish hidden below a nice kick of paint

This review regarding Ye Olde Leathern Bottel pub, Wokingham.
A Saturday night meal with my family at above pub ruined by lack of staff training, delay to server the food, forget the starter, impoliteness, mistake after mistake to served the food. Promised to discount 25% of the total bill but that didn't happen. If you would like to go to Ye Olde Leathern Bottel pub, Wokingham please think again as you have been warned. You may not get what you order with a very bad service. I am disgusted the way my family and I treated at Ye Olde Leathern Bottel pub, Wokingham last Saturday 26th Nov 2022.

Every week we have lunch at the lakeside restaurant on willen lake...Milton Keynes.. I thought it necessary to highlight the quality of the food...and the staff....one of the staff..Vicki..always greets you with a welcoming smile...she is very competent and warming....thank you all ...you are a credit to green king

White lion at sawbridgeworth tonight a disgrace, 2 members of staff, Phil and milly who are amazing and doing their best, pub full of people service time terrible, no glasses being washed , how quickly a pub can change with new management, the old manager would not have left his staff in the lurch, the new one puts up a Christmas tree and clears off for the night, shocking

Absolutely disgusting food. I wouldn't feed it to my dog. Went into my local on a lunchtime. Wasn't sure what to have but decided upon the carvery bap. I was dismayed when it arrived- A dry stale roll with 2 pieces of turkey no bigger than a postage stamp,an enormous 1in thick cold lump of green rubbery stuffing. 3 cold roast potatoes and a jug of gravy. When I told the staff that it was inedible they took it away but nothing else was done,no apology,no refund. OK it wasn't the most expensive item but something edible would have been nice. Poor service.Go somewhere else

Hi I recently visited one of your pubs in Aylesbury called the old millwright arms. To my amazement I see you have a manager running the pub Claire Miles. With the money laundering convictions and drug convictions she has recently been convicted of don't matter to green king. I advise any one visiting the pub to check their change to make sure the money they receive is genuine

Recently visited a Green King pub in Cheslinhay Cannock very nice pub inside the staff very nice the food was a complete let down menu was very limited The salad that came with the lasagna was limp chips burnt we had coffee and I have had better coffee from pond land . But I think this is normal with a Green King pub .

This cringing supplicant filth have changed the name of a 700 year old pub to suit there woke scum agenda. They should be ashamed

I love my local greene and king pub but think it is disgusting that you ars putting up Christmas decorations before remembrance day you could wait a few days to remember those that gave the ultimate sacrifice 🤬🤬

The meal was very poor response from Greene King is negative would not recommend them at all
