Pyrus communis had hardly any bare root half of it has not taken. The Brompton rootstock was enormous! Was told ‘pyrus is always a tricky thing to get on the way’ which makes no sense as half was fine and the other half which were basically sticks were not fine (btw no grafting has been done waiting to chip bud later). Told I could have free replacement plants next season but not planning on using this company again. I spent £515 with them on rootstock and I am pretty experienced with it so pretty disappointed to be patronised and now ignored. I will not use this company again.

Good selection and reasonable price. However no notice of the delivery, just turned up. Not the size of tree I ordered, is 9 inches shorter. Healthy looking tree.

Bought two specimen trees for my garden. Ordering easy. Telephone support efficient. Plants arrived on time and well packaged. No damage during transit. Very healthy plants. Good advice about storage and planting over the phone. Very good experience, and good value too.

Recently bought 4 good sized ilex to help form a windbreak. The plants were not cheap but I knew I'd have to pay for the size I was after. Good quality and promptly delivered. Would buy again.
