Most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the product quality to be poor, with non-stick coatings failing rapidly, pans chipping, and items staining or buckling after minimal use. People frequently reported that the products did not live up to their advertised claims, especially regarding durability and non-stick properties, despite following care instructions. Customers also expressed significant dissatisfaction with the customer service, describing it as unhelpful, dismissive, and unresponsive. They often received generic replies, were blamed for product issues, or found it difficult to get a resolution for warranty claims or faulty items. Some people were also dissatisfied with the pricing, feeling that the high cost did not align with the poor quality received.

Don’t buy these pans

The only thing I can recommend about Greenpan is how quickly they got back to me. However, the response was always that the issues were my fault, not theirs, and they wouldn’t resolve them. My new pan was warped, had a bump in the middle that meant that the middle got really dry and whatever was there stuck and burned. Not their fault apparently and no help forthcoming. Don’t buy these pans!

Please spare yourself the frustration & disappointment I went through (+ the waisted €€)

Please don't fall into the trap of beauty and marketing as I and many did for these pans.
I loved the Padova pan for its design and description, but since week 1 started to stick. I emailed the customer service, and followed their pan cleaning advice, to keep boiling the pan with water and dish solution each time after cooking...but honestly which person that cooks daily is willing to do that, and yet if it did any good I'd justify, but the pan just turned worst. Its impossible to stir fry, saute anything in these pans. The worst experience ever, after a 5 euros pan that u buy at the cheap market.
Please do not bother!

Terrible quality

We bought these pans, large and small frying pans in the hope that they would last for years as advertised. Unfortunately, after a month or two we noticed things sticking pretty badly. It became worse and worse as everything we used it for would result in broken foodstuff. Eggs, gyoza, omelettes, even vegetables and chicken stick and this includes plenty of oil. We contacted the company directly with photos and explained but they shirked responsibility saying it was probably our fault and recommended cleaning them. A joke to be honest. We expected a professional product and after sales service but got none of these. Awful product, completely overpriced.

Products are fine, but they need to improve their returns policy.

I am a repeat customer. I disagree with the people on here who say the Greenpan products are rubbish etc. I have found them to be good, and they seem to work as claimed, although one product did kick the bucket in terms of being non stick.

Where they need to improve is with their 14-day returns policy. The 14 day policy isn't a "policy" as such as the Consumer Rights Act requires distance sellers to provide for a 14 days return policy, therefore their policy is to merely comply with the law. But "best practise" in e-commerce is to give purchasers at least 30 days. With non perishable products, many give more than 30 days. I would urge Greenpan to reconsider their 14 days policy, which isn't really a policy, as its the law, and replace it with a more user friendly one, which won't leave them with angry, frustrated customers.

EVERYTHING Sticks to these pans

EVERYTHING Sticks to these pans! I bought a large and small fying pan to replace my 10 year old Ikea frying pans. Everything I try to fry (in plenty of oil) ends up stuck all over the bottom - I can't even fry an egg. I've now reverted to my old Ikea ones - still virtually non-stick after 10 years. The customer service is appalling, they just blame you for using the wrong oil or cooking at the wrong temperature and they sent me tips guidance on how to use a frying pan. They also suggested I boil water and washing up liquid in them after use. They absolutely refuse to accept any responsibility for their shocking product.

Pan was chipped after one use

Pan was chipped after one use. I was so careful taking them out of the packaging and hand washed gently, used a silicone spatula over med-low heat. The website will not let me leave a review and they won’t let me return since the packaging is not intact.

Oh i wish i had read the reviews first

well like so many others here my pan has given up after 10 months, it looks in perfect condition and has been used carefully and in line with the instruction, but over the last month the non-stick coating has stoped working and absolutely everything sticks almost instantly....no problem I thought they went on about the great warranty when I bought it so I contacted customer services, Immediately I was accused of misusing the pan, this is despite sending pics showing the good visual condition of the pan, that followed by a refusal to help at all and that it's my fault for using it. WOW and that's that, I have been ripped off and had I looked here before I spent ALOT of money on a now useless pan I would have known to avoid. BUYER BEWARE!

Purchased Valencia Pro $579.00 set a month ago.
Performed the egg test. Did not stick. The egg slid out of the pan. Made an omelet with cheese. Cheese did not stick. Slid right out of than into my plate.
I cooked steak tip in the pan with the grooves. Added various seasonings along with barbecue sauce. Nothing stuck. I cooked spaghetti, water over flowed. Very little water left in the pan. Spaghetti did not stick. Each one of the meals, clean up is a breeze. I have not put these pans in the dishwasher. I use wooden utensils.

A product such as Green Pan, for me to leave any type of review, not to mention a 5 star review is rare.

This product, at least the Valencia Pro does everything it says.

Thank you

GreenPan Wok - edge surface scratched off by lid

I bought a GreenPan wok in November, and thought it was great, until I saw that the edge surface of the pan that came in contact with the lid was completely scratched away. Yet the rest of the pan was perfect, no sign of scratches, dents or any wear and tear, so this damage was entirely caused by the lid that came with the wok from GreenPan. GreenPan have refused to refund or exchange, and keep sending me tips on how to use, which are irrelevant as we are already following them and have no scratches elsewhere. This company is completely ignoring any consumer rights, and the fact they are selling sub-standard products.

Not so green, very toxic.

Greenpan is one of the worst companies I have ever deal with, not only the website is misleading about the safety of their pans and their toxicity as they are now proof that they contains several toxins, including silane and aluminum oxide, unfortunately I discovered this after bought the pans, one of them came faulty and I was not been able to assemble the pan, I been contact the company since January (now is middle march) with videos of the problem, and they have not provided it with a solution, not even a return label. Terrible product even worst customer service. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT waste your money or health with their products

A Williams and Sonoma sales representative stated that the GreenPan was just like the ScanPan only better. I will never go to W&S again! The sales rep clearly misrepresented the GreenPan as it is the worst pan I’ve ever used! I was looking to replace my old ScanPan and the rep stated the GreenPan was better. NOT! It burns almost everything and everything seems to stick. Worst buy ever!

A complete waste of money

A complete waste of money. Everything I've ever cooked has stuck within seconds, no matter how high the heat, with or without oil, etc. Literally everything. I honestly wish I'd spent the money on 15 $10 fry pans from the Warehouse, rather than this piece of rubbish. Avoid at all costs.

I am amazed at the numbers of buyers who have given bad reviews.

I am amazed at the numbers of buyers who have complained about GreenPan products they have bought. My experience of pleasure in using mine, after several years might be due to the fact that I follow to the letter every word of instructions! I am a one person user.
I have 2 frying pans different colours and a completely black small hob saucepan of this brand.
One of the items: Black hob saucepan 14cm. for intensive daily use with all hobs, including induction. Infinity.(ceramic noon-stick enhanced with diamonds) Extremely durable non-stick. Intensive daily use. Metal utensil safe interior. N0V 2018. Thermolon. Ceramic non-stick. Responsible technology
Care and Use Instructions Booklet: 8 pages. Thermolon endurance, Non-stick technology, PTFE -FREE. I have written: Hand Wash. Frying pan.
One of the frying pans was Cambridge Range. 20 cm. (both same size)
I use all three items: two regularly One frying pan and the hob saucepan. The other frying pan less often mixed in with other cookware. I follow the care instructions explicitly. Hand washing is the best method though it seems from one note I have for one of the items is 'Dishwasher safe' but with care instructions about type of detergents and hard water etc. The ceramic coatings can be broken down if this is not abided by. Even the oil/butter one should use for frying must be followed. And the non use of abrasive cleaning pads etc for items when hand washing. No steel wool etc.,
Heat settings for frying are extremely important. If there is some food left adhering in a pan just let it cool, then add some water bring to a quick boil: Turn off and leave to cool; when it is easy to wipe away. Which is what I regularly do.
If by accident there is over-heating of a pan up to 450degreesC /850 degrees F no toxic fumes will be released and the coating itself will not blister or peel.
Don't take food straight from the fridge to cook or fry: allow 10 minutes before doing that.
When the non-stick starts to fade, the thick high density ceramic undercoat allows the pan to be used just like cast iron enamelled pans.
I would not hesitate to buy their Brand again.

Worst pan I ever got!

I agree with most everything other people have written. Food sticks to the pan immediately and cleaning is a pain. I got mine as a gift from my son through Sur La Table. After reading these reviews, I won't even try to return mine as I've had them now for 6 months. Very disappointed in GreenPan products -- there's nothing "non-stick" about them.

Worst pan

If I could, I would have given it a 0 star. This literally is the worst pan I have ever used. When you purchase it, they talk so much about warranty and what not. I can't make anything in the pan, everything sticks and burns. When I reached out to customer service about warranty they started telling me nonsense about how to use it etc. Products and customer service both are bad. Stay away from this company.

I received these pans as a gift

I received these pans as a gift. I really only started using them for a month and they are already chipping.
I reached out to the company and they assured me this is normal and safe to use. This well maybe true, but the appearance of the cookware should matter as well. When you purchase them they should clearly state this will happen very quickly after use. I followed all of the care instructions carefully.
I would not recommend AT ALL!!!
