Groomit worker could not accept an…

Groomit worker could not accept an advanced 5 day request, and advanced pay of $271.00.that was already paid in advance.they had been here once before,but will never be back again. These people were very rude as my time off was the only day I had off, and could not accept 8 day advanced notice and took them 3 days to respond to my appointment. they cancelled my appointment and I asked for a full refund as these lazy people don't want the work. My dog is not mean she is a mini Aussie 23 lbs, no medical issues ,so it is the people of this company, who are choosing to not accept the work. Will make sure everyone will not use this company, as I will leave reviews EVERYWHERE should have known a B B.B Ratings of " F. ", 7 complaints not replied to lol. What a SHAME

The groomer was over 2 hours late and…

The groomer was over 2 hours late and didn't bother to text or call that she would be late! To make matters worse my dog trim was so uneven all over! I will never book with this company ever again!

It’s great to have someone come to your house and not have to take your dog out . His anxiety levels are much better due to this convenience . They are punctual and very kind . He is left so clean and smells terrific . My house doesn’t have as much hair anymore bc they are very professional in their grooming .

This has been the worse experience

This has been an incredibly disappointing and frustrating experience. It truly saddens me to have to leave a negative review, as this is the first time I've ever felt compelled to do so for any service I've used. Spending over $465 on this service, I expected a higher level of professionalism and attention to detail.

List of incomplete tasks:

- One of my dogs was injured (nicked)
- The fur of both dogs was unevenly shaved, despite my request not to shave them down
- Nails were not trimmed
- Ears were left dirty and emitted a foul smell
- No sanitary trim was performed
- Their odor indicated the use of old or dirty water during the grooming process
- Bamm Bamm’s fur had an unpleasant smell
- Their paws had an unpleasant odor and no balm was applied
- Gland extraction was not performed
- Bamm's eyes were goopy, indicating improper cleaning
- The fur around their ears was left wet and unfinished
- Questionable if their teeth were brushed, hard to identify as I do it periodically

After I sent them the photos and videos, I didn't receive any phone call. They only offered a $100 credit, which was insufficient to address the issues with both dogs. I suggested that they send someone to fix the problem, but before my husband noticed my dog had been nicked during grooming. Thankfully, we have before and after photos as evidence.

I suggested a fixed cut prior to my husband noticing the injury to our pet caused by their groomer. At that point, we couldn't risk having another groomer come near our dogs. We asked for a call from a qualified and trained groomer to assure us of their proficiency and to understand how they select and vet their groomers. Unfortunately, we haven't received that call yet. If they take the safety and well-being of pets seriously, they should have reached out to us by now.

Furthermore, they should have sent someone to inspect our dogs in our presence to confirm the truthfulness of our claims if the photos and videos weren't convincing enough. It would have been the appropriate and responsible course of action.

Note: They even went as far as to close my account just to prevent me from leaving a review on their app. This made me realize that I should leave a review on Facebook, Yelp, & Google, because there might be many others who have had the same experience but were unable to share their thoughts.

I was not rude and offered a helpful suggestion, and I was even willing to cover more than half of the cost, but no one bothered to give me a call.

I am done with this company

I am done with this company. First session was great. Second time they shaved my dogs beautiful coat without letting me know beforehand. What a shock when I saw him. This time I PAID EXTRA FOR mating. Instead of taking care of the mats the SHAVED HIM again after I complained about him being shaved the first time. If you are going to charge close to 300 on grooming and de-mating I expect that to be done. I could have shaved him myself for free.99. They are taking advantage of people on budgets. F#ck you guys corporate greed at its finest.

Groomer Roman was great

Groomer Roman was great with my senior dog. There were too many mats on her hair and the groomer made me feel comfortable and took care of my dog. My dog feels so much better now and she is very happy with her new look

Thk u for professionalism

Do you think my dogs like to have their nails trimmed? Oh, this is a complete disaster for me, but I found a way out when professionals got down to business! Thank you Groomit, thank you my Fabi & Gucci are not afraid to make themselves beautiful

Absorbent charges after the fact

although my groomer did a pretty good job, one dog had a bloody toe he did not attend to bleed all over my floors. there were excessive charges after the fact after they left my property that we're not discussed I was charged three times for the mobile fee three times for a sanitary fee. They upgraded the size of one of my dogs, which was not necessary to add an additional fee, also after discussing this with billing. That fee magically appeared so overall I paid $725 with a tip for three dogs my bill should have been no more than 600 which is extreme to begin with. I believe this company over all is a rip off and borderline criminal Adding fees after service and contract completed. I would not recommend

Splurge. I decided to try Groomit because I was…

I decided to try Groomit because I was having difficulty getting an appointment with local groomers. The Groomit app made it super easy to schedule a grooming appointment, last minute even! The groomer came right to my house, bathed and gave my pup a great bath and haircut too! It was great! The price was a little more than double what I would normally pay to groom my dog, but the added expense was worth it for the convenience of the whole process. I would use this company as a once a year splurge.

Wasted Day

My original appointment was for 10am. The groomer stated that she would not be able to make it until 11am. I reached out at 1130am to find out her ETA. She said 1240pm. With that being said, she finally showed up just before 2pm. I wasted my entire Saturday waiting for her! The haircut was mediocre.

I wish that there was a Negative…

I wish that there was a Negative star....I booked my first Groomit appt for my dog...paid....gave up a work appt to ensure I was home for the grooming time...received emails/texts verifying the appt...and then a NO SHOW/NO CALL....when I contacted the company the excuse was the groomer "had van issues and was unaware of the appt"...I was offered a $20.00 discount on a future grooming session. My dog attends a large local day care ..I told them I was excited about trying this service...I will certainly share with them my negative experience.

How to Make Both Your Pet and You Happy

Our cat Sylvia is, overall, pretty good natured, but this does not mean that she's always docile when I try to comb her or, more intrusive, clip her claws. But thanks to Groomit--and Ashley--she always looks her best: washed (something I've never dared try), clean, cheerful relaxed. Not only is it easy to get an appointment at Groomit, but the session is always the most complete success!
