Really great service. No moaning about how there may be delivery delays due to covid. Just beautifully packaged steel, delivered the next day. I will definitely be using GFS again. Service like this is much appreciated. Any chance of some Elmax coming into stock?
I'm just getting into making small blades for woodcarving and sloyd work. Needed a supplier of good steels and related supplies. As a Northern Ireland (UK) based knife maker hobbyist I couldn't find a single high carbon steel supplier anywhere in Northern Ireland I literally called 30 plus suppliers and half of them didn't even know what I was talking about.
Thankfully finally found these people online. Their product is superb they do a nice range of high carbon and other engineering steels in a wide range of dimensions and they are very reasonable and they charge a fair price for postage which is especially good for me in Northern Ireland as normally we get shafted on postage charges.
Just placed my third order on their website and within 20 minutes the order has been picked and shipped... that's pretty impressive.
