My experience at Stockport Audi was really excellent, and Carl Cranham's help was flawless. I have recently purchased a used Q3 and traded in my A3. Carl expertly advised on the purchase of the new vehicle, the finance options and gave a thorough and honest valuation of my car. This has been the easiest car purchase ever, and everything from viewing, valuation and set up has been brilliant. Carl's communication has been really great, friendly and efficient. A stress free experience from start to finish. Thanks Carl!

I had my work van booked into Group 1 VW Peterborough on the 30th June. I was first in the queue and booked in at 8am, on booking in I asked for this to be done asap as I needed the van for work. At 11.30 I chased up and was told that they had not started. Again I asked for it to be completed soonest. I watched on my tracker and saw that the van had moved, this was 2.30. I phoned to check that it had been completed and asked for the invoice to be sent over for payment. At 3.20 I phoned again and was on hold for over 20 minutes again requesting the invoice, this took another 10 minutes to arrive. The attitude of the staff at the Peterborough site shows a distinct lack of customer care. Whilst waiting to collect my van I spoke to another customer who was of the very same opinion. For phones not to answered for 20 plus minutes says a lot for how the customer is taken for granted.

Firstly I called the day before to confirm I had a hire car to be told I didn't have one. But after me chasing this it turned out I did and the first person didn't have a clue. The id4 was on recall for door issues now they won't lock or unlock, the sunblind doesn't work, the heated seat control chooses when to appear on the dash, the keyless access doesn't work. The under screen lights for the satnav only works when turning right. I live in Wigan so can't "just nip it in" so the issues will have to stay. But on the bring side the car got.me home with out doors flying out on bends..

Adam was a super stair, extremely helpful and supportive from start to end, whether at the dealership or via email. Guided and advised on the options and whether they offered me value to make an informed decision.

Terrible.
We're on our way to Cornwall today after having the car serviced yesterday. A warning light has come up on the dashboard saying 'add 1 litre of engine oil when next refuelling'. I'm beyond annoyed. This is appalling and replacing the oil is one of the few things actually done in the service. It’s even worse when I see that you’ve charged me £94.50 for oil!
I’ve tried calling your Stevenage branch several times. After finally getting through, the proposed solution offered by Mercedes was that I bring the car in (I’m 150 miles away as I’m supposed to be on holiday). When I challenged this, the receptionist asked me to hold before cutting me off. I ended up having to drive to a Mercedes dealership in Bristol, buying oil (cost £11) and adding it myself. We have only just arrived in Cornwall, with a very tired family and children.
I would also like to highly separately that when the car was returned to me yesterday, I was told that 2 of my tyres were advisory as the tread was 4mm, accompanied by a quote for Mercedes to fit new tyres. Tyre treads are assessed based on the 3 middle quarters of the tyre, which measure at 6mm for the tyres in question. This measurement is confirmed in the report and the video sent to me by the technician. I find the whole experience appalling and deeply offensive. I will be reporting this to the ombudsman.

A friendly car dealership, the staff are very pleasant.
Waiting for your car is okay there too as the building is cool, has reasonable WiFi and the reception staff keep you supplied with coffee/tea etc.
The service department staff are great to deal with, advising and costing any extras and leaving you time to consider your options.
Overall a pleasant experience.

I am writing this review after giving Vantage Toyota Southport two separate chances, and both times have been a complete disappointment. I live locally, so I thought giving this nearby branch another go would be convenient, but that was a huge mistake. Usually, I get my car serviced at either Toyota Liverpool or Toyota Preston, and the quality of care at those locations is infinitely better.
I paid £465 for my last service here and £300 for this current service, yet the standard of work and basic customer respect is nowhere near what a main dealer should provide. My car has an issue with the emergency SOS system, and despite having it in the workshop, their team couldn't even figure out what the problem was, leaving a fault completely unaddressed. On top of that, after paying £300 this time, they didn't even bother to wash the car. When I pointed this out, their response was simply to tell me to bring the car back another day for a wash. Expecting a customer to waste more time, drive back, and burn fuel just because their staff failed to complete the job properly shows they don't care about people's time or effort at all.
Southport knows how to charge top-tier main-dealer prices, but they don't know how to deliver basic service or look after their customers. I will never, ever bring my car back here again. Stick to Liverpool or Preston where they actually treat customers properly and do the job right. Overall 0/10.

Very happy with Vlad, the Salesman, at Group 1 Mercedes Benz Hemel Hempstead. Particularly appreciated after appalling service from Sytner Mercedes Benz Watford (see other review). Communication good, expectations met and very happy with my new CLA 250+.
The missing one star is due to having a very limited showroom (go to Watford to look at theirs) but purchase from Hemel!

we purchased a Mercedes 220d from Mercedes warrington.the issues started from the day we collected the car. The car was sold with a 12 month mot on collecting the car we we're informed that the car had passed with flying colours! I checked on the government mot checker regularly over the next 2 weeks, nothing. I contacted the dealership to be told that the mot hadn't been carried out and we had been lied to.
during the first week a fault with the front proximity sensors became apparent, signaling that there was an obstruction when nothing was present and the air con wasn't cold.it was arranged to bring the car in for the mot and rectify the faults. on arrival we were informed that they could only do the mot due to the number of technicians available. Another date was arranged to fix the sensors and aircon. on the next visit we left the vehicle.on return we were informed that the technicians couldn't find a fault with the sensors and the aircon was working as it should & needed a regas but this couldn't be done without sales authorisation? why didn't the service dept contact sales and get this done immediately on the same day rather than requiring another phone call and visit? I contacted service yet again to arrange for the faults to be fixed. We we're informed there was no loan car available for 4 weeks.we took the appointment. 4 weeks on we received a text message at 5-30pm the day before our appointment, no loan car available.Clearly priority was being given to paying customers. Another appointment was made a week later.
at present the faults appear to have been remedied. over the last 2 weeks I have called your switchboard average ring time 4 minutes.if you ring 0 you get a person who asked is that maureen and hangs up! on 4 occasions ive asked to speak to a senior manager, never anyone available,i was promised on those 4 occasions a priority call back, guess what? never got a call back.Your managers are cowards who don't want to speak to customers to address their issues.
nice car customer service nil points.

VW sold me a car and it was great having a garage in Cheltenham local to carry out services etc. They then closed this overnight without telling anyone. Now my nearest garage is SHREWSBURY! Almost a two hour drive or else I'll lose my warranty by going elsewhere. Never again.

Exceptional experience at Toyota with Graham!
We recently bought a car from Graham, and he was incredibly responsible throughout the whole process. He genuinely focused on our actual needs instead of just trying to push a sale. This car-buying experience was much better and more pleasant than any we had in the past. We highly appreciate his professionalism and the excellent service from Toyota!
We are very happy to recommend Graham to our friends if they would like to buy a car later.
