Faultless customer service

Faultless customer service. 1. You can speak to a real person (unlike Apple which uses a voice automated help desk). In an emergency (MacBook broke just at exam time), the Group8 assistant was speedy, helpful and they have a streamlined collection service with DPD and they even send the padded boxes to put your device in and it is sealed in front of you. Excellent, professional service with proper joined up thinking! Highly recommend for laptop repairs.

This company is the BEST!!

This company is the BEST!!! - Fast collection and Delivery. Great communication, just a phone call away and quick clear consice information.

Story:
I have had a year of constant problems with my MacBook Pro 2020, crashing, kernel panics, It has been sent off to apple multiple times and continuous problems persisted. Along with this the turnover times where extremely long, many weeks without a machine I work on.
I fortunately got a repair case opened with apple to have the repair done by Group 8, A GOD SEND. Every problem I have had has been resolved in a fraction of the time (days instead of months). I can't thank them enough, thank you David.

I would like to give Group 8 a 5-star…

I would like to give Group 8 a 5-star rating and highly recommend this company. I booked my 4 year old iPhone 8+ 258GB in because my battery was showing 80% capacity. I use it for work etc. Because the battery health was bad on inspection, they advised that Apple were obliged to replace the whole unit. I couldn’t believe it until a new phone was delivered. They did all the leg work for me. Had I gone directly to an Apple store, I know there’s no way they’d have disclosed this small print. In fact I had and they tried to sell me a new phone 📱. Thank you Group8 and thank you to Carl & Connor, and to David, the Manager.

I had a mystery problem with my Macbook…

I had a mystery problem with my Macbook Air. It didn't seem to start up at home but was ok whilst with Group8. They changed the SSD card but when I got it back home it was still not starting up. So I sent it back and again it was fine with them. I have to say I've been very unlucky with it but Group 8 couldn't have done more. David called regularly with updates, told me everything they were trying and really didn't want to give up. They didn't charge me for returning my Mac the second time. I really felt like they wanted to solve my problem and do the best they could.
Since getting the mac back, it is behaving.....I'm writing this on it now. So whatever they did, i hope that the mystery problem has been solved. Thank you David! Your patience and effort is much appreciated!

I blocked my old laptop!

Inadvertently I had blocked my old Macbook Air after a OS download. I explained the problem to Group 8 and it was fixed promptly with telephone updates and prior permission to proceed requested at each stage. This is my second experience with this company and am very pleased with the service and my laptop which is as good as new!

Great Experience

Great Experience. I had some issues with my macbook pro and was told that I could have a 3rd party apple shop look at the problem and could potentially fix it and I waited 2 weeks for it to be collected (which was from dpd and was a very easy service) and it took only a week for it to be diagnosed with the problem and for a part to be ordered and then for it to be back with me. Overall Great Service.

I wanted to place a new SSD in my iMac…

I wanted to place a new SSD in my iMac and whilst there are videos suggesting that you can do it yourself I was not confident and was recommended Group8 by another computer repair company.
From start to finish the service was superb, from the email from Apple that the service was booked in, through my regular updates by phone from David and the excellent understanding when another issue was found. Totally professional throughout.
The price was extremely reasonable too and I would have no hesitation in using them again for any other Apple repairs.

Wow what great service 5*

Wow what great service. Booked in my MacBook Air in overnight, slot 1st thing next day and problem sorted in 24 hours. Very positive team who kept me updated on progress. No nonsense and excellent approach. Better then apple store if I’m honest. Highly recommend.

Broken laptop

I have just dealt with Group 8 and I they were fantastic. Very efficient and friendly. They constantly kept me updated on what was happening with my laptop., then a speedy delivery back to me. 👍👍👍

Very professional 5 star Apple service provider.

My XR iPhone's camera stopped working, so through Apple customer care I booked an appointment to have phone diagnosed. Got appointment slot for immediate (1 Hour) meeting at Group 8. What a pleasant surprise to be met by a very professional team, who rang me later in the day to confirm that the camera hardware was faulty and would need replacing and that they would arrange for a new unit.
Two days later they called and said the new XR was with them and waiting to be picked up. Brilliant service from Group 8 and no charge
what so ever as the phone was still in warranty.
Definitely a 5 star service provider.

Great company - all round

I can't speak highly enough about Group 8. We own a number of macs (for work and pleasure) and on every occasion their swift investigation and repair has got us back up and running within a matter of a few days. Thanks to Dan for the feedback on faults and to the team for turning this latest repair around so quickly.

Great experience.

Great experience.
Had an issue with my macbook pro retina screen
this company replaced the screen under applecare warranty they did a great job in a timely manor.

they used ups to pick up and deliver back my laptop safely using protective packaging.
and the whole job start to finish took about 4 working days.
highly recommended .

MacBook Pro sent in for Repair

Organised this repair through Apple. Repair took 1 week, this includes pickup and return of the Laptop. They identified that the cause of my problem was a faulty screen. They replaced the screen and was very impressed with how well it was packaged when sent back to me. My only criticism is their partnered delivery company UPS. Their delivery times aren't very clear and that was a worry for me. If possible in the future I would suggest looking at DHL or DPD as their tracking methods are much more reliable.

better than a visit to the apple store

You have to give Group8 credit. The Genuis bar is great if you can get an appointment for your mac but in London that can be difficult. Called Apple support and they recommended Group8 as an authorised repair supplier. They picked up my mac, replaced the motherboard and did an memory upgrade for me and had it back to me to me within 2 days. I would highly recommend this supplier for all Apple repairs, great customer service too. A***+++++
