Had a problem with my battery…
Had a problem with my battery discharging. It was fitted by Groves and covered by a three year warranty. They checked it over fully, identifying corrosion on the negative terminal. It was fully cleaned and re attached followed by comprehensive further testing to ensure all was well. Cannot speak more highly of the service from Groves I have had 4 batteries from them and would not go anywhere else

Exceptional service and great value
I am 63. I have never had such an exceptional garage experience. Polite, knowledgeable, quick, good value, charming, spotlessly clean and well organised. No wonder the Groves family have been in this business for 78 years. Please keep going!

Great value, super efficient service
I took my car in at 9am to have my dodgy, unreliable battery tested and went out half an hour later with a new battery fitted and all sorted. I was able to go on my long journey safe and reassured. Brilliant, efficient, friendly service. And great value too.

The AA man booked me in with this local company when my car battery failed. They fitted me in immediately, were pleasant and quick and the price seemed reasonable. I would recommend them.

Buy your next battery with confidence
Just collected a new Yuasa motorcycle battery less than an hour after completing my on-line click and collect order. Battery cells filled with manufacturers acid prior to collection. Knowledgeable and friendly service at a great price. I will definitely be going back for my Volvo and KTM replacement batteries. Do not buy from your vehicle supplier or any of the big chain stores, buy from this specialist.

A long-established family business worth trading with
A long-established family business, Groves have been successfully trading for generations and there's a reason for their success. My battery was changed in less than 20 minutes with no appointment, during which I had friendly chat with the owner, I left with a superior battery at a very reasonable price and peace of mind knowing my car won't let me down in the cold. Brilliant.

No appointment needed. Took no more than 10 minutes to remove and replace old battery at a VERY reasonable price. Excellent. Nice, clean waiting area too. Very professional.

Ordered my LIFOS battery and it arrived safe and well and packaged excellently and then had a few issues as to how to charge it and rang the seller and they were very helpful indeed and put me onto the right path to find a suitable charger and also told me if there were any problems or issues with the battery to call straight away and they would not hesitate to help out
