Grow is a mental health platform built to enable progress — connecting people with thousands of qualified therapists vetted across specialties, identities, and lived experiences, covered by insurance. We didn't begin with a theory about the market. We began with someone trying to help someone they loved, with the realization that when someone you care about needs mental health support, the system can feel cold, confusing, expensive, and built to wear people down. So we built something better to help people find care they can afford, stay with, and actually feel supported by — care that doesn't just work, but makes progress possible. We are not only for crisis. We are for all the moments when someone decides they want more: more support, more clarity, more tools. Because our goal isn't just to help people feel better — it's to help people achieve their goals in life. That starts with finding the right therapist, which is why we make it easy to search by specialty, language, cultural background, and identity, with care covered by insurance, appointments available in as little as 2 days, and most clients paying around $21 per session. Many pay $0, and self-pay and sliding scale options are also available. We are committed to a mental health experience that's easier to begin, more affordable to maintain, and grounded in trust — rethinking not just how people access care, but how care feels, because life doesn't pause between sessions, and with Grow, support doesn't either. So far, 15 million sessions have started on Grow, each one a step forward for someone, somewhere, building the life they've always wanted. With 220M lives covered, appointments offered virtually or in-person, including evenings and weekends, and clear cost estimates with no subscriptions to worry about, it's no surprise that 80%+ of Grow clients report feeling better after starting therapy. Doing virtual setting works best because I have had to jump from state to state. Due to losing employment and becoming homeless in the process
Doing virtual setting works best for me. Especially because I have had to jump from state to state. I wish that Grow Therapy excepted state medicaid. Because now I have to leave my providers.
Medicaid and online? Yes, Please!
I needed mental health care I didn’t need to figure out transportation for. Being able to choose who you’ll see is also just as big of plus. An easy to use interface. You can schedule yourself, or with your provider. If no one has told you before, always give your provider three sessions before you make a final decision they’re not for you. I picked a therapist and psych I got right the first time and I can’t elaborate how thankful I am for them. If you have Medicaid, and need online care, definitely try Grow Therapy!
Grow
Easy to access, I love that Grow Therapy takes Medicaid. Tons of therapists with detailed profiles to choose from. I wish Grow Therapy had an app but the site works pretty well.
Grow Therapy has great providers and accepts my insurance!
I love Grow Therapy because of the many good doctors and therapists I can choose from. I also love that they accept my Humana PPO and FL Medicaid. I would rather never have to switch. I definitely recommend Dr. Roston Moss as a trauma physiatrist. Trusts you, listens, and cares.
As a mental health professional, I recommend Grow Therapy to people seeking help.
I have peace of mind that Grow Therapy services are covered by insurance and accept Medicaid. I know the professionals here are licensed and will share their skills in evidence based practices.
$250 unexplained fee
Growtherapy advertised saying "we take Medicaid!" and nothing about additional fees. I just had one intake/initial appt which the provider says she doesn't charge for at all -- despite having my insurance, and the provider saying she didn't bill anything THEY KEEP SENDING $250 BILLS. STOP.
Do not recommend.

Love Love Love
Love Love Love - 1. Covered 100% by insurance United Health Care Medicaid 2. I got to read and select whom I thought was the best fit for me to achieve success in Therapy 3. Virtual appointments so I'm always on time and so is my therapist
I was avoiding therapy for 3 years; my last experience was horrendous. Thank GOD I found grow therapy in November...
The counseling/coaching has been great. Cheryl really listens and I feel energized after appointments with her. She has helped me decompress my thoughts about different things which is subconsciously giving me a better ability to process life experiences. I leave each session with new insight into developing strategies for reducing the impact of trauma in my daily life. Within a few sessions I was already implementing problem-solving and decision-making techniques to improve my performance in achieving my short and long term goals. Cheryl is not afraid to face into difficult conversations, has a wealth of experience, great intuition and listens brilliantly allowing her to provide excellent contributions and support.
This place was exactly what I needed
This place was exactly what I was looking for to start my private practice. It is so well-equipped for its clinicians by offering free CEUs, billing, and other benefits. They even partner with a health insurance marketplace for its clinicians. I would highly recommend Grow to any of my colleagues, and I love that they are currently the only platform offering billing for Medicaid.
Grow cares about the employees and work/life balance
I am fairly new with Grow but have been in private practice for over twenty years. I am a 1099 contractor with Grow so essentially self employed. But this far have been extremely impressed with the onboarding process and support teams with Grow. One thing I am very happy about is they market you on Psychology Today a d ZocDoc at no cost to me. There’s also a lot of community support with other providers. And they take most Medicaid plans which I respect.
Don’t hesitate.
I don’t know where I would be without grow therapy. They offer talk therapy and medication management, and you have a wide variety of providers to pick from, there is no pressure to stay with the same provider. They also accept Medicaid, which is why I’m so grateful to have found them. Trying to find therapy that accepts Medicaid can be challenging and discouraging. I couldn’t be where I’m at without Grow Therapy.
I NEED MORE THERAPY AFTER DEALING WITH…
I NEED MORE THERAPY AFTER DEALING WITH GROW THERAPY. SHADY COMPANY WITH SHADY BILLING PRACTICES. NO ACTUAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT. They market heavily how they accept Medicaid and Medicare and even make it seem on their interface as if your sessions are already paid off by your insurance. Then MONTHS later they will message you via email saying they are billing you for sessions that never had a balance months back. Also they never give you warning of the cost they spring it on you when they’re ready to charge your card. I tried to dispute with my bank and unfortunately it did not work. They’ve charged me $126, then $150 and now another email saying I owe $531 and I haven’t gone to sessions in months because I canceled and asked for my account to be closed. Their support email bounces back and says you need an account to use their live chat feature with support so if your account is closed they will still charge you and you can’t get help. Reporting them to BBB and will be seeking legal action on this.
Easy to use & caring providers
Very easy to use this service! The therapists have surpassed my expectations. The platform is very user friendly. Everything has been very easy to use. If a provider doesn't meet your needs, it's easy to find someone new. There are plenty of options. I only wish they accepted state insurance (Medicaid) so that more people could be helped. Overall, great service!
Grow offers a great partnership for growing your private practice
Grow offers a great partnership for growing your private practice. They offer the ability to be credentialed with a large amount of insurance providers, including BCBS, Medicaid and Medicare. Many of the other platforms doe not offer these additional insurance credentialling.
