While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

GTT FINES YOU EVEN IF YOU FOLLOW THEIR RULES

Don't make the same mistake - JUST USE TAXIS IN TURIN! I made the mistake of buying a GTT day ticket. I validated it using the manual 'Validate' button in the GTT app — not the auto-validate option. I followed the rules and yet, I was fined as if I hadn’t done anything at all.

The problem? GTT’s app is a confusing mess, with a poorly designed interface that creates ambiguity and technical failures. Even when you do everything right, you’re still treated like you’re trying to cheat the system.

When I appealed the fine, they didn’t review any actual evidence. They didn’t investigate. They didn’t ask questions. They simply copy-pasted a generic rejection, blindly siding with the inspector — as if no mistakes can ever be made on their end.

It’s a total SCAM:
– You pay for the ticket
– You manually validate it
– The app doesn’t process it properly
– You get fined anyway

This isn’t just incompetence — it’s a system designed to shift blame onto honest passengers and EXTORT more money. Based on the endless negative reviews online, this is a pattern not an exception.

GTT is overpriced, disorganised and clearly not interested in fixing anything. They punish users for their own failures and refuse to take even the slightest responsibility.

AVOID THIS COMPANY if you value your time, money, or sanity.
