Overall not professional and bit slow.
I had an appointment scheduled for Friday, 8th December 2023. On the same day, I received a call indicating suspicion of an issue with the fuel pump, but additional labor time was needed to confirm the fault. From the 11th to the 13th of December, no work was carried out on my car despite repeated requests. Finally, on the 13th of December 2023, they confirmed a problem with the fuel pump and contacted my warranty company.
The service representative assured me that they would submit video evidence to the warranty company that night. However, it turned out that the evidence was submitted on 16th December. Unfortunately, the warranty company, Auto Protect, was fraudulent and did not cover the fault.
Subsequently, I requested Honda to proceed with the repair, agreeing to cover the costs. Initially, I was informed that the required part would arrive on 9th March 2023. However, upon contacting Yeomans Honda Farnham branch on 19th December, they stated that they could order the part from the first week of January. I relayed this information to the Guildford branch, and they confirmed they could also arrange the part from the first week of January.
Today, on 28th December 2023, I received a call notifying me that the car was fixed and ready for collection. Upon picking it up, I was surprised to find that the car was handed over to me unvalidated. This was unexpected from a main dealer, as it is customary for all major dealerships to provide a valeted vehicle upon return. In my previous experiences with Ford, BMW, and Toyota dealerships, my cars were always professionally valeted and handed over, unlike this recent experience with the Honda main dealer. Paying £883 for the service and receiving the car back without proper valeting is completely unacceptable.
