Guildhall Dental are extremely efficient, professional and friendly. That goes for all staff. My dentist, Virginia Lees, has been my best-ever dentist and throughout the years she has done some amazing work on my teeth. She's practical in her approach and I like that! Virginia's assistant is the perfect match to be in consults between myself as a client and Virginia - I feel there is a real synergy of them both as a team! I'd never go anywhere else.

Incompetent dentist. Poor dental clinic. Just after the money not proper care.

Poor dental service. Went for minor procedure but made it worst. Had to go to a different clinic to get it corrected. Avoid!

Dental care is of a good standard but becoming increasingly monetised. Recommendations for expensive gum health and cavity prevention treatments with follow up calls from reception to book in asap leaves the patient feeling under pressure to commit. A second opinion from a qualified and experienced dentist at another practice conducting a full examination resulted in no treatment being required other than seeing the hygienist. Whilst professional opinions can vary, GDP appear to be seizing the opportunity to maximise private treatment at the patient's expense, created by the widespread withdrawal of NHS dental care.

I had my dental implant removed yesterday and I was extremely apprehensive and nervous. However, from the moment I entered the practice I was treated with kindness and care. Peter and his team are very professional and skilful. I highly recommend if you’re having dental implant problems.

Thank you to Jaina Shah and her assistant Heather - you were both so gentle, kind, caring and re-assuring when I had a recent tooth extraction. I was very nervous and you have helped me to conquer my fears after various traumatic experiences elsewhere. Thank you both so much.

I am such a nervous patient along with issues of claustrophobia so was dreading my appointment but was treated with so much kindness and patience from Vaz...even got me a neck rest so I didn't have to lay so far back in the chair....and remembered it when I went back for second appointment.Emily the dental nurse was also lovely.I now won't be dreading returning in June...thankyou!!

AVOID! Passed from pillar to post by Stella around some dental work I required incurring fees into the £100's of pounds before receiving a call advising they could no longer treat me as a patient. DAYLIGHT ROBBERY!! This is whilst missing other serious dental works which were actually required (reviewed by another PROFESSIONAL practice in town). A warning to anyone else current who is current patient at this surgery or any future potential patients. Complaint handling procedure is not a complaints procedure at all it simply consist of there practice "manager" Faith acting as a go between between myself and dentist. As if NHS dentistry wasn't in a sorry enough state at the moment, we now have private practices preying on people also.

Over a gradual period of time, I lost every tooth in this old head of mine. Hereditary, gum disease, stress, tooth decay, grinding my jaw at night wore them away! The last few extracted before my heart op; decades of tooth I was helpless to stop. I faced the last third of my life with a plate which didn't fit properly and moved when I ate. That sprang from my mouth if my yawn was too wide; when I sang; when I laughed; when I spoke; when I cried. Thoughts of the rest of my life played out so, saw my confidence drop to an all time low. No NHS dentist to take me in town, I then did some research and looking around.. The Guildhall Dental caught my attention and though too late now for my tooth loss prevention, they offered a service which to me was good news; implanted locators with adjustable screws. A custom made set of dentures which clip onto the implants for a safe and snug fit. And, several trips later plus several grand too, I've a full set of white teeth all shiny and new. They don't move around! They stay right in place! And I am so happy with my new look face. I am a wuss when it comes to pain, but all the discomfort was well worth the gain. To anyone thinking of taking such action, I know at first hand you'll receive satisfaction. Some folk spend their money on baccy and beer; some people have holidays three times a year. Some folk buy a new car every triannual, or spend a small fortune on a pedigree spaniel. To me, my new teeth are well worth the expense; morale can't be weighed up in pounds or in pence. It is both my hope and my fervent belief, to see out the rest of my life with these teeth! I have my smile back and I say "WATCH OUT WORLD", a new phase of my life has just been unfurled.

Not a fan of the dentist at all so to find a surgery like Guildhall is a god-send!
Dentist very professional and cant fault their patient focused approach. Similarly the hygienist was equally competent and professional
Really appreciated the service received and would recommend this practice particularly for those who really don't like visiting dentists!

On practical note pricing was fair, reception staff friendly and attentive, appointments on time in an environment that is purpose built with nice waiting area although parking can be a pain but that's central Bury St Edmunds for you.
