Excellent customer service I was looked after by an agent named Celso on Saturday. With what seemed a bumpy start he turned it into a smooth ride. We visited the branch earlier this week an... See more

We rented a property in Cambridge…
We rented a property in Cambridge through Haart. While we were looking at properties, they were pleasant and charming (Patryk). Once we had signed the lease, not so much (Taylor). Rude! Unresponsive! Sometimes even nasty! They obviously don’t understand, that while they represent a landlord, the renter IS THE CUSTOMER! They are obviously ONLY concerned with the “sale” = after that you are pretty much on your own. They want permission to hang a picture! If I had known that this was their modus operandi, I would NEVER have gone to them, If you are looking to rent, I strongly recommend you find some other agent, hopefully you will find one who could give a damn about you as a customer as well as when you are a renter
Poor communication and unprofessional service
I contacted Haarts Estate Agents to get a valuation done of my brother's property. I required this information to provide to the Court proceedings relating to the extension of the lease, as my brother lacks the mental capacity to deal with this himself.
Initially, I was given every assurance that the valuation would be carried out, and an appointment was arranged for a member of staff to visit the property. Unfortunately, I never heard anything further.
Each time I telephoned, I was told that the manager was unavailable and that I would receive a call back. Despite these assurances no one contacted me. Eventually, I explained that, if Haart was unable to assist I would have to seek help elsewhere. During this conversation, Patrick from the Walthamstow branch replied "Ok" and ended the call. I found this response dismissive, unprofessional and lacking in courtesy, particularly given the circumstances. I would have expected a more professional approach from a company such as Haart. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this company.
Awful.
Awful.
I'm a landlord and this has been the worst letting agent I've dealt with.
They are non-responsive. Emails often receive no reply at all, and I've ended up emailing Haart offices around the country just to get someone to respond. There seems to be a constant turnover of staff, so you're forever dealing with someone new.
They didn't identify issues with the property before they became bigger problems, repairs weren't dealt with properly, and my property deteriorated while it was under their management.
The final straw was important post not being passed on to me. A council tax bill was never forwarded, the debt escalated, and bailiffs became involved. That should never have happened.
The only bright spot has been Max in the accounts team, who has always been responsive, helpful and professional. He's a real credit to the company.
I could go on and on, but these examples say enough. Based on my experience, I would avoid using Haart.
Rude Response When Asking for Directions
I had a viewing arranged today. Unfortunately, I had difficulty finding the property because the entrance was not obvious. I called the office for assistance, but instead of trying to help, the person on the phone was rude and repeatedly insisted that Google Maps could not be wrong and that I was making a mistake.
In the end, the property was actually about 50 yards away on the other side of the road, with the entrance through an alley, so my confusion was understandable. A little patience and better customer service would have made a big difference. I hope they treat future customers with more courtesy and understanding.

Do not have this company as property…
Do not have this company as property managment. The whole time a tenant was in my apartment no inventory, cheek in or out was conducted not 3-6 month checks so the tenants destroyed my apartment even playing around with plumbing and floating the cupboards, taps are broken shower broken sofa ripped and fire blew because oil was in oven unbelievable that now no contact from them and no deposit because there is no proof of damage from tenant for too no checks being conducted and insurances generally need these checks. I'm absolutely disgusted that my flat has been left in such repair even the doors are broken and toilet flooded causing damage they were ready to rent this apartment in this state for less, I came home to the flat and could not believe how bad it was. I'm now with ombudsman and I give them 0 but a 20 on neglect of the contract. Do not have these people as a property manager of you want to not spend all the money to them for neglect even the top guy in complaints does not answer or provide what I ask as evidence they have done anything in my contract at all .... Shame on you harrt I was so upset with this whole affair I ended up in hospital with nervous mental health .
Absolutely Terrible
Not with them but received a letter saying "I believe I have a buyer for your property give me a call on a local number to discuss" It was a total lie. I did phone and had an aggressive sales man lying to me but putting it back on me that I was taking it the wrong way. Absolute parasites. The keep phoning me and partner on different numbers when we block them
Chelmsford branch
Chelmsford branch. One of our main requirements is for a high street presence. We want the ability for our customers as well as ourselves to be able to talk to someone face to face if required and not just an anonymous online presence. We have been using haart for about 3 years now and find the services provided are extremely professional and the people who work there very accessible; in branch, by phone, and by email. Through haart, we have experience of setting up, new tenants, maintenance management, repairs, and inventory; all were done with professionalism and a feel that we are the main customer. We understand there are plans for an online portal for landlords in order to manage maintenance issues and this would be an extremely useful tool which would match our experience of what other companies use. While all the people who work at haart Chelmsford are worthy of note, I shall on this occasion give Megan Lacey mention for recent services provided in relation to the management of a maintenance issue whereby we wished to use a specific contractor, and excellent and an comprehensive inventory report. There are some absolute scoundrels in our business; we aspire to be landlords who are considered legal, decent, and always considerate of the needs of those who use our services, and we believe that haart also represents those values.
Arrogant management, blatant lies, and manipulative service. Avoid!
I will not include names but they know who they are!
Last year, Haart Colindale persistently chased me to list my property, culminating in an agent rudely cancelling a Saturday valuation just one hour prior. This year, after seeing them sell a property on my street, I decided to give them a second chance. They apologised for the past experience and assured me that bad service was not their usual habit.I booked a valuation for a Saturday. The female agent arrived, we had a pleasant one-hour chat, and I transparently told her I would contact her on Tuesday once my contract with my current agent officially ended on Monday. Following through on my promise, I emailed the female agent on Tuesday as soon as my other contract ended. She completely ignored my email. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I called the office to follow up. The manager answered and booked an appointment for the following Thursday for the initial female agent and a second female colleague to come and take photographs.Having been disappointed by them before, I called the branch on Thursday morning to confirm someone was turning up, as I had turned down several important meetings to be available. The second female agent answered and told me the main agent was away on a training day, but said the manager would come with her instead. Shortly after, the manager called me back, changed the plan again to say she was coming with a male agent, and explicitly claimed the main agent was actually off sick. When I got upset by these conflicting stories and told them how unprofessional this was, the manager rudely snapped, "I'm the manager, it's okay if I come." She spoke to me with a horrible, patronising attitude, treating me like an idiot. They behave as if they own my property and can decide whatever they want, completely forgetting that I am the owner, I pay the money, and they work for me. They do not get to dictate terms, control my home, or lie to cover up their chaos. Their arrogance and complete lack of professional boundaries prove they are entirely untrustworthy. Do not give them a second chance.
Whacky Races Commute
Your agent, who drives the VW Polo - GD74LMX which is covered in Haart livery needs reminding she is representing the company whilst she’s tailgating and speeding doing 80+ on her daily commute on the M1 towards Leeds. I drive the same commute and it’s a regular occurrence. She will cause an accident eventually.
Recent experience with Haart Coventry…
Recent experience with Haart Coventry branch . The worst experience would not purchase or sell a property with this company under any circumstances . Rarely do they answer the phone or on the rare occasion you get hold of someone they are unable to help and advise they will get someone to call back which took days. When finally get through to someone we are advised there is only one day available to view the property which due to having plans that day we decided to proceed with an offer without viewing which was accepted. They ask us for our personal details bank statements etc . But advise the seller accepts on the condition we view the property , we cancel our trip to make ourselves available . We then receive emails from Ben the estate agent who didn’t do the viewing to advise he was waiting confirmation from the seller but they had a second offer , and there would be a delay due to the only form of communication being email , which we know to be a lie as they advised us of telephone communication previously . After chasing and calling over 20 unanswered calls we finally get through and they advise they would call the seller and then call us back . An hour later they advise the seller has accepted the other offer .
A long story short . These things happen . However if the estate agent was clear and transparent we wouldn’t have sent over personal files . We wouldn’t have cancelled our trip . We would have kept viewing other properties . We wouldn’t have wasted hours chasing an estate agent that don’t answer their phone . An estate agent that lies and disregards a buyer .

Excellent service from Amber Ince at haart Doncaster
We have had an excellent experience with Amber Ince while purchasing a property through haart Doncaster.
From our first enquiry and viewing through to negotiating the purchase and having our offer accepted, Amber has been friendly, professional and genuinely helpful. Communication has been clear and prompt throughout, and she has made this part of the buying process feel straightforward and far less stressful than we expected.
We are still progressing through the conveyancing stage, but based on our experience so far, Amber absolutely deserves five stars. Thank you for all your Help :)

They just don't turn up!
Booked a in-person house valuation back in March and they just didn't show up. No apology, not reach out. I called them and said "we had an appointment, and nobody showed up. Are they still coming?" The lady on the phone confirmed my appointment and could see who were appointed but didn't know why they failed to show. She said she would call us back to rearrange.... and just never did.
Months later, we booked them again to come on 20th July (we had called 4 other estate agents at the same time and just needed a range of updated valuations) Once AGAIN the called on the day to tell us "there was nobody available to do our valuation".... huh?
I rented a flat through Haart while…
I rented a flat through Haart while waiting for my property purchase to complete. During that time, I paid my rent on time and provided a deposit just like any other tenant.
Once my property purchase was finalised, Haart failed to return both my tenancy deposit and the rent I had overpaid. Despite numerous emails, phone calls, and repeated attempts to resolve the issue, including contacting several managers, my money has still not been returned.
It is absolutely shocking that a company can treat customers this way. I have done everything required of me, yet I have been left out of pocket and completely ignored. I now feel I have no choice but to escalate the matter to Trading Standards and seek legal advice from solicitors.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism, communication, and accountability shown throughout this process. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Haart to anyone.

Seriously avoid!!!!!!
Avoid this estate agent if you are buying or selling. The agent that showed us around the property could not answer any questions we had about the house, all we got was she didn't know. Made no effort to find out.
The lady also made us feel like time wasters when discussing what we were looking for, was more interested in telling us about her social life.
When we viewed a property for the second time, she had arranged for another couple to view ten minutes later without letting us know, which made the viewing very awkward.
There was no professionalism showed at any point, there was a very unbothered attitude to the agent, to the point we felt like we were stopping her from finishing early that afternoon.
Will never use this estate agent again.
Ben was great
Ben showed us around the property and was punctual, polite and knowledgeable. He was really friendly and answered all of our questions.
Ben has been fantastic throughout my house search
Ben has been fantastic throughout my house search. He took the time to understand what I was looking for and regularly sent through multiple property options that matched my requirements. He also kept in touch with regular check-ins, which made me feel supported and reassured throughout the process.
I’m really grateful for all of his help and guidance so far, and I’m pleased to have his support as I move forward with purchasing my new home.
