Since opening in 1982 we haven’t stood still, we moved to a new purpose-built site in Market Drayton in 2015 following a £8 million investment and in Spring 2023 we opened up our second branch in Shrewsbury. During this time we have grown a strong reputation as one of Shropshire’s largest DIY, Garden & Timber specialists. As well as supplying one of the widest ranges of wooden acoustic panels in the UK.

I wanted some stake's for my small fruit tree's.. phone was answered immediately..a really helpful young lady..yep they are in stock..went to collect..the same lady shows me where they are and helped me put in the car.. brilliant service..and cheaper than any where else!…
The prices are cheaper than wickes but down side is they don’t have loyalty scheme and no payment options like clear pay installments

We understand the appeal of loyalty schemes and installment payment options, and while we don’t currently offer these, we focus on keeping our prices consistently low for everyone, without needing points or hidden extras. Helpful member of staff when visited Shrewsbury store when looking for a battery lawnmower. He took time to show me the various models. Once I had chosen the one I thought most suitable he explained how it worked. I did not purchase it on the day but ordered it on line with other items for home delivery. I was kept informed of delivery day and time. Delivery person was friendly and helpful. Excellent service all round and competitive prices.
Order a pair of matching gates, with exact measurements. I was told they were ready for collection, i headed over and after 30 mins was told they had not yet been made! That was the first issue. A few days later they delivered them, only on install to find they had made them to the wrong measurements, as they hadnt taken into account their supplied bracket distances! That was the second issue.
I was then told they could supply some smaller brackets to fit. I turns out these new brackets, they had deceived us, Julian was trying to pass them off so they would work, however the design required them to have the bolt on to keep the bracket straight.
That was the third issue.
Do not buy anything bespoke from this company - they cant even get a basic set of gates correct! Utter useless, and to top it off they lie to you to try to correct their error!
