I purchased a 42mm Khaki Field watch in January ‘26. After wearing and winding it until March ‘26, the rotor was helicoptering when the crown was turned. I sent the watch to the Miami service center and they determined a new movement was needed. Since March 16, 2026, I’m informed the replacement won’t be completed until June 12, 2026. In summary, the watch failed in less than two months of ownership, and the service/repair is unreasonably delayed. I don’t recommend spending your money on this junk.

Extremely disappointing experience

Extremely disappointing experience — received empty package and no help

My boyfriend ordered a watch from this company for around $1,200. When the package arrived, the box contained no watch and not even a watch box — it was essentially empty. We were shocked and immediately contacted customer service.

Instead of trying to resolve the issue, they refused to help us and did not seem to believe our claim. We explained the situation clearly, but they maintained that the package was delivered and would not offer a replacement, refund, or meaningful investigation.

This has been incredibly frustrating, especially given the price of the item. Spending this amount of money and receiving an empty package, only to be told there is nothing they can do, is unacceptable. We are currently disputing the matter because we feel we were left with no other option.

Based on this experience, I would be very cautious ordering directly from this company. Customer support was unhelpful, and we felt completely dismissed. Worst customer service ever. They are a scam!

Very poor customer/marketing service

Very poor customer/marketing service. Weeks have passed since my first emails, and despite several further attempts and reminders, at the time of writing, I still haven't heard anything back from the appropriate team. Silent treatment. One of the worse customer service I had ever experienced, and by reading at other reviews, I am not the first and only one. I would be very careful before buying any of their products, as you might end up in the same situation in case you are experiencing any issues.

Lacking on a few points

Lacking on a few points. The biggest is accuracy, got serviced after purchase as it was about +15sec and after it was still +11 sec. Compared to other watches I own in this price range it falls short. Lack of anti reflective coating is another drawback. Looks beautiful and feels nice but lacking in these 2 areas. All in all would probably not buy another

Stylish Watches with Great Craftsmanship, but Pricey for Some

I recently bought a watch, and I’m really happy with the design and quality. The watch looks stylish, feels solid, and works very well. You can tell it's made with care and attention to detail.

The ordering process on their website was smooth, and the packaging was beautiful. Shipping was on time too.

The only downside is that some of their models can be a bit expensive, especially if you're on a budget. But if you're looking for a reliable and well-made watch that also looks great, Hamilton is a good choice.

Poor quality strap

I spent £1300 on my watch, and I don’t wear it everyday and after about 6 months the strap has cracked already, sent it back to Hamilton and it took 7 weeks for them to say the strap isn’t covered in the warranty, so I would have to buy another 1 at £100, terrible customer services and I won’t be buying another watch off them .

Hamilton Kaki field

I ordered a Kaki field automatic watch via the factory website and at the same time I was talking to their customer service department regarding an extra large leather strap.
Unbeknown to me was that I was ordering the strap from a third party and the watch from the factory. The watch has arrived (which doesn’t fit, as expected) and the larger strap will be here in a month, so I have a watch that I cannot use and a strap arriving…sometime.

The quality of the watch I am hopeful of and will report back…..but, come on Hamilton, organise things…stock the straps and offer them as an option. This really makes a terrible experience that I’m struggling to to come to terms with.

All of a sudden an Oris may have been the better option.

100 quid watch strap poor quality

Bought the green canvas watch strap from hamilton for khaki field mechanical. The strap is already marked and weakened where the buckle sits when the watch is on. Its by no means tight. And its less than a month old. I paid 100 quid for this strap and its already marked and feels very flimsy at that point. Extremely disappointed

Authentic Hamilton Watches

I had no issues with this online retailer, though I note several negative reviews. Watch was received on time and in perfect condition. It had all official packaging, tags, and a completed warranty card. They do sell authentic watches.

The watch itself is excellent.

Nice watch - terrible warranty

The watch looks lovely, but quality of build is very poor and the warranty coverage is an absolute disgrace.
The clasp on my watch broke after 7 months and as there's a 2 year warranty I sent it off to be fixed. I assumed that the clasp would be covered by the warranty, after all you'd expect the clasp to last on a quality watch.
The bill came back with cost attached to the repair, but even worse that a service charge was also included - with no option to turn down.
I ended up asking for the watch to be returned without any repairs being done.
Their customer service is also very poor and replies take a long time to come through.

I don’t think this is an official Hamilton Watch company website. Buyer beware.

I followed their procedures for a 30 day return (well within 30 days), the watch I was sent does not keep accurate time. My calls (sent to voicemail) and emails were ignored. In spite of the URL seeming legit, I don’t think this is an official Hamilton Watch company website. Buyer beware, it might be best to get one from a legit jeweller, or Amazon.

Absolutely awful experience with the Titanium Auto, which cost me a thousand bucks. After just a few times wearing the watch and within 6-8 weeks of purchasing it, the dial kept freezing and the loop on the strap broke. I tried requesting a refund and they stood by their 14 day return policy. The customer service person asked that I email her pictures and I did, but the email bounced. Seems like a very fraudulent company - I would advise purchasing from a different watch company.

Wonderful watch

Wonderful watch, & suitable for years of use. I live a VERY active life: hiking trails through states, climbing, snorkeling & diving, working with knives & cutlery, mechanic bays, etc. Quite varied & this watch has taken all of the abuse. Excellent craftsmanship by Citizen. With all of the abuse I gave this watch in my 20's, only some scratches on the Quartz face tell the story. The band is just about disintegrated (after 4 years of full use). Overall, this is definitely a watch I would wear in the field, & in casual environments. I additionally like the option of Spanish days for the day calendar. A sound Timekeeper.
