Mixed feelings bout Hanna Andersson
I have ordered from Hanna Andersson online a handful of times. The pros: HA shipped my items pretty quickly and no missing items, the sales were decent, and the quality of the clothes was great (so far). Also, I have used the chat feature and was able to get ahold of a live customer service rep every time who answered all of my questions.
The cons: there are just a few... I ordered the spider man PJs and the bottoms had really ugly, uneven seams. It looked like Walmart quality! I attempted to post a review on HA and they never approved the review. That to me is a huge flag. Why don’t you post all the reviews? Can’t selectively just post all the positive ones. I sent the PJs back well over a week ago, but it appears to be stuck in limbo at FedEx. Next, I ordered 3 items that were all in stock. I received a confirmation email that the item were purchased and a hold for the amount was placed on my credit card. I waited for the email with the shipping tracking number and never received it so I went on HAs website to check on the status. The order was “cancelled” and I was never even notified! The hold is still on my credit card!!!
I have mixed feelings about HA. I like their clothes, but I worry they will send defective items that take months to receive a refund for. Also, I don’t like how there is a hold on my credit card for items sold to me that don’t exist.

I have been a loyal cutomer to Hanna Andersson for 12 years, always loved their products (esp unders and PJ's) and customer service. Now, I have no idea what is going on with them. I returned something on Sept 8th and I have yet to have the return processed. They can't even find the package. They blame everything on fedex. If fedex is the problem then change carriers otherwise you shouldn't be relying on internet orders if you can't process, ship and return orders. Thoroughly frustrated. What has happened? I've called customer service 4 times and no resolution. I just spent $90 and have no product. Are they going out of buiness? Seriously, what is going on?
No price adjustments
Five days ago, I bought a shirt. Yesterday, the shirt went on further sale -- a significant difference. I called for a price adjustment and they refused. I ordered the shirt again for the lower price and will return the original once it arrives. Ridiculous waste of time. I can't think of a single clothing company that won't do a price adjustment.
Please stop using fedex
Really good clothes and the customer service is great but please stop using fedex for deliveries. They are unreliable and have never delivered reliably any of my Hanna packages.
Buyer beware!
I bought navy zip up pajamas. It was a cute space print but when I washed it per the care instructions one time it faded so badly it looked like I bought it from goodwill. I took pictures of it and tried to leave a review with pics on their website and my review was never posted. I called customer service and explained they definitely needed to address the issue with their manufacturer. They also told me someone would get in touch with me on why they did not post my honest review and they never did. It makes me wonder if they maybe are writing their own reviews and picking which reviews they post??? Such a waste of money. The only positive thing was the cute print before I washed it.

I ordered 2 pairs of pajamas on 5/4/20.
I received one pair of pajamas on 5/20/20.
I immediately called to be told they were out of stock and there was no way I could get the missing pajamas. I wasn’t offered any discount for alternate pair to make up for it but still was understanding to the mistake on your part.
The next day- On 5/21/20 I see online that the pajamas I want are IN STOCK. I call again and am told they have one pair in stock but they aren’t sure if I’ll get it and I should choose an alternate in the case that the one they have in stock doesn’t go to me which is puzzling as they should be promised to me since I already bought them and didn’t receive them by your mistake. But still I’m understanding and choose a back up option.
Today on 5/25/20 I receive an email stating that I can’t get either pair of pajamas. With no offer from your customer service team to make up for your mistakes. I’m only told I can get my money back or try again to choose another pair and hope that I’m not told next week that it is out of stock.
It is extremely disappointing. It’s obvious to me that you’re not concerned with taking care of your loyal customers. It seems you have trouble keeping inventory in stock, keeping your website up to date, as well as packaging correct orders. I imagine keeping customers is not your top concern.

My boys grew up wearing these clothes which were of fine quality. I was going to order some things for my grandson's 4th birthday, but after reading the reviews (which were 85% bad), I will not consider placing an order. Thanks to all of the customers who took the time to share your experiences with the unsuspecting public!
These are not hand me down quality like…
These are not hand me down quality like they claim. They feel thicker than old navy, but no better quality. Super disappointed. I was hoping for some amazing jammies to provide comfort for this crazy time. Unfortunately we are left with some scratchy, overpriced jammies. Colors are true to what I online. Quality is not. I'm super disappointed. I know that isnt how I would want people to feel about my brand, disappointed.
The customer service dept are awful
The customer service dept are awful, I sent a message through their website and got no response after a couple of weeks so did another message, we purchased Pj’s at Christmas. I explained that we were no longer in the US so I couldn’t return them and was there any other way to sort a return, I just got a response saying don’t worry about returning have a good day?! No other option or response to my enquiry. For a big company I am really surprised by their customer service and the quality of the product. Nothing like the ones we had 2 years ago. Feels like they are annoyed you are contacting them!

I purchased pajamas for my grandchildren for Christmas they wore them Christmas Day only and look like they have been washed and worn all year. Just wearing the material is horrible . I messaged Hannah Anderson custmer service Jan 2, 2020 and recieved a message they would be reviewing and getting back to me. I think 30 days is Long enough. I paid dearly and bought 6 pairs of thes horrible pajamas they were not cheap either. And I have bought many pairs of ha pj's and these may have done me in.

Your customer service department is a disgrace. No one has a clue regarding company policy, processing returns and following through with credits. It’s shameful. Your corporate office should read the reviews and see how unhappy customers are with your company. Also, your CEO conveniently does not have an email address posted on your website.

Something is wrong at HA. Are they going out of business? I loved the quality of this company's clothes when my kids were little, (though I couldn't afford more than a few outfits). Still love the quality. But something is very wrong with their shipping system!!! A Christmas order for my grandkids was completely lost. They couldn't locate the order when I called. Finally did refund after many weeks contacting them. Also a previous return was delivered to their warehouse but they needed 4 weeks to process the refund. Weird.
Rude, unreasonable customer service
I placed a huge order last week, and 2 days later I got an e-mail saying everything was marked down an extra 25%. I contacted Customer Service to ask about getting a price adjustment and they told me they wouldn't do it. My order hasn't even shipped, and they won't adjust the price. The customer service agent was very rude- I told her how upset I was at this policy and her response was 'Thank You' and she ended the chat. I have placed several orders before with this company but this will be my last. I'd rather spend my money at a business that actually cares about keeping their customers happy.
Negative experience
I really hate it when companies force me to write negative reviews. I bought 2 pair of pajamas on the 40% off sale on December 1, 2019. Today is December 26 and I haven’t received one pair yet so I started searching through my email and noticed I got a cancellation from their shipping department. They said my item is no longer in stock. So I went onto the website today and my item was in stock but the price now is full price. So I called customer service to see if they would ship me the items that I had ordered on the 1st of December at the price I had ordered them at. They refused. So what they’re saying is we ran out of discount pajamas but we have the same pajamas at full price if you want them. This is just really bad customer service. I am so disappointed. I really liked their pajamas, but I can’t support a company that treats their customers this way. I’m just shocked at how little they value their customers. (This review is for the company as a whole. I did not visit the retail location. All my interactions were online and with their customer service)

I am - or better was - a loyal customer and over the years have ordered many things at Hanna Anderson. For the last order of 14 items I chose 3day express delivery, paying 14 $ extra because we needed some of the clothes urgently, but only three out of these 14 items arrived on time and not the ones we needed first. When I ordered, all items were in stock and according to the order confirmation would be delivered in 3 work days. But the majority arrived 4 days late ( after 7 workdays) - without any explanation given. I emailed the company three times and left feedback, kindly asking for the refund of my 14$ for the express shipping.No reaction whatsoever.... What a horrible customer service!!!
Terrible website and customer service
Terrible website and customer service. I will never buy from Hanna Andersson again. I've spent two days trying to undo the mess the four orders I placed yesterday are in. The company cancelled some pants I'd ordered as Christmas gifts because they were out of stock. I checked and they were shown as still available on the website. When I tried to buy something to replace the pants, I couldn't get the 40% off I got yesterday. There was a different sale today - 30% off store-wide. But the items I wanted were excluded from the sale. So the pjs I bought yesterday at 40% off for $27.60 cost $46 today.
I contacted Hanna Andersson. I tried to chat, but it kept timing out. I waited on the phone for 26 minutes for customer service. I got nowhere.
If I were you, I'd deal with another company and save yourself the headache.
Horrible
Horrible. Placed an order on December 1. Guaranteed delivery within 7-10 business days. Over a week later the order was still not even shipped but was told it was “too late to cancel” the order. Called on December 11th, again told I would have it by Dec 13th even though the FedEx site said it hadn’t even shipped yet. Rep blamed it on FedEx’s lack of updated data this time of year. Wrote email to HA on 12/13, when I saw that they had missed the promised delivery date. finally able to track and the FedEx estimate for delivery was now for Dec 19. Asked for explanation from HA and how I could return it when and if it finally arrived. They guaranteed that my return would be free. Then told me my order and others had been discovered sitting in a truck in a FedEx parking lot, again blaming it on FedEx. NEVER ORDER FROM HANNA ANDERSON!!!!
