I had an absolutely fantastic experience renting a car here. The car was in great condition and priced fairly, but the staff at the Ponta Delgada Airport office truly made it exceptional—they were incredibly helpful and friendly. I don't recommend. I booked a car through them from Germany for Zagreb airport and the local provider could not book the deposit through my Visa Debit card and did not give me the car I already paid for. I paid 600 euros to HappyCar and now have to fight to get my money back. They don't answer the phone, don't reply to e-mails. Will never book again! I have been calliing for weeks, no answer. This feels scammy. And now they changed the phone number and there is no longer any phone number where you can reach them. Waiting almost three months now for their reply and thinking about raising a lawsuit.
We came about 2 hours later because our flight scudule changed. In front, we paid for 3 cars with our family. Once we arrived for collecting the cars, the told us we were to late and there were no cars for us. We couldn't get a refund, even though we rented the cars for a whole week. We believe they are legal thieves.

Thanks for your reaction, but it is not right. Besides all, we paid upfront but didn't get the cars. Where did the cars go, or our money? Did you double book the cars?

We rented our car in Iceland through the happycar website and it was the worst idea ever!! Here our experience:
-First of all, the company we rented the car through happycars had a totally dofferebt name when we arrived --> scam alarm!
- We got a really old car that already had 250.000km and so you can imagine that it made problems especially the 4WD that is very important in Iceland because of the slippery roads and snow. People had to help us a few times to get our stucked car out of the snow.
- Because the car was so old the touchscreen of the radio and the Bluetooth didn't work.
- Since we rented the car in Iceland we actually expected that we would get the car with some equipments to remove the snow in a stormy weather but that wasn't the case.
- On our last day when we wanted to return the car and drove to the place where we rented the car NOBODY was there! The whole office was closed and then we just saw the sign on the door which said that they moved to another place! They didn't tell us anything about that when we rented the car on the very first day - a warning would have been appropriate... .

However, thanks to their great customer service the money was reimbursed without complaints. Great to see that customer service of Rental Agencies can work well and uncomplicated. Recommended!

In Mallorca at AMIGO / OK Cars not accepted
- Must pay additional 157 euro
- Tank was agreed FULL / FULL ---Tank was 80% full
- CAR inside was total dirty !
