Excellent service and advice from Hawkesford's Warwick office selling our family home of over fifty years at a price the whole family was very happy with.
We are so glad we trusted the charming team of Ali and Jo to guide us through the process as they have gone completely beyond the basics to help us every step of the way.
From taking a measured and unpressurised approach to sales and timings, a sensible financial view of the market and a kind, helpful and their overview of the whole process was faultless.
Our buyers had an onward chain but the team handled this with skill, perseverance and efficiency and the final sale went ahead on budget and as planned with no fuss. I would unreservedly recommend Hawkesford's as a trusted, local, family run estate agents who are a pleasure to work with.

I have received excellent service from Frank Venton l have just sold my house on Alderney and the service has been faultless Frank has kept me informed at all times He has gone above and beyond from meeting and arranging for a surveyor from Guernsey to access a difficult land issue .He met the prospective buyer from the aeroplane. The whole selling progress went to plan the paperwork was on time fully explained completion on time money arrived on time A rare estate agency indeed l cannot recommend Frank and Hawkesford highly enough.

I can't express enough how amazing Hawkesford estates agent have been. We purchased a property they were marketing, they kept us up to date throughout and each time we phoned they always gave us the time of day and got back to us with any information requested. Ali in particular who was dealing with our case was so helpful and supportive throughout and when we went to pick up the keys it was lovely to finally meet her and the rest of the team who greeted us with a friendly smile. We have dealt with a few estate agents over the years and I have to say Ali and the team have been second to none and I would certainly recommend using them to sell or purchase a property :)

Instructed this agent to deal with a work related relocation. They agreed they could help. we reminded them again and again it was a relocation, same employer of 14 years, but new contracts with substantially higher wage.

Passed all checks, credit rating good, tenant ref perfect (same rent) except the employment - Wanted to know how we were going to sustain travelling hundreds of miles to work, Didn't think we could afford the rent based on basic salary in a junior position 14 years ago, rather than current.

Derogatory comments were made about partner being disabled and working flexible contract previously, and a disabled persons wage could not be counted. Suggestions were should look at cheaper properties within our budget, when we have been paying the same rent and could afford to several times over, for the past 5 years. Truth is we could sustain renting both these properties with ease (not that you would!)

It appeared it was getting increasingly aggressive and they seemed determined to find a reason not to pass the checks. It soon became evident that their skills were woefully inadequate to deal with a work related relocation they had promised would be seamless.

They withdrew the property offer, stating they felt we could not afford it, based upon their inaccurate findings - and stated that they were keeping our fees, as we had 'Lied' on the application form, which clearing stated the relocation, higher wage not reflected in old contract etc.
