Failed kickstarter, possibly a scam

I know that you're not guaranteed to get anything from a Kickstarter campaign, so this is on me. That said, they promised a product and didn't deliver, so they do deserve a one star rating.

SCAM ARTISTS - BEWARE

This company scammed thousands of people by saying they had a product ready to produce and they did not. They completely changed the design and quality of the product that raised them over $2 million. This company is nothing but scam artists and Kickstarter is doing NOTHING to help resolve the issue.

Nothing but a bunch of scam artists who…

Nothing but a bunch of scam artists who put out nonsense on Kickstarter, get funded for over 2 million and then just run away with the money or don't answer to the people who backed them. This has been going on now for over 3 years and they've not answered anybody in 2 years. If this was any other type of thievery the police would be involved but because it's a kickstarter everybody's left in the dust.

Stay far away from this "company"

Kickstarter campaign ended in Oct 2021, at that time they claimed they were close to production on a BLADELESS MULTI-FUNCTION QUIET fan that could be mounted to the wall or a headboard or on a floor stand, with an estimated delivery of November 2021. In the span of a 30-day campaign, they raised almost $2.5 MILLION dollars USD with over 8,000 backers.

Over the next nearly TWO YEARS, Haxson has provided very little actual concrete information about this fan. They've revamped the design to the point it no longer resembles anything like what the backers were promised.

Haxson put out a call for US-based beta testers in May 2023. When I signed up to beta-test, I was told I would receive an NDA and the beta unit would be shipped. In early July, in response to an email asking for delivery status because nothing had arrived, I was first told "we'll chase that up for you" and then "the latest update was posted" - never acknowledging my actual question or admitting that nothing had been sent. Several other backers that signed up for beta testing in May 2023 have reported (via the comments section of the campaign page) that as of mid-August 2023, they also have not seen an NDA.

At the time of this review, Haxson is claiming to be targeting a ship date of late November 2023 and is refusing all requests to cancel and refund.

It has also been reported in the comments that this same campaign was listed on Indiegogo (tinyurl dot com / HaxsonScam), with the exact same amount of money raised and the exact same number of backers. Those reports included the detail that Indiegogo has deemed their version of the campaign as a scam and are refunding backers through their site. Unfortunately, that doesn't help those of us that found it through KS, but it might help support bank chargeback claims.

Kickstarter Campaign said it was close…

Kickstarter Campaign said it was close and would start production shortly after campaign ended, that was in October 2021.
Barely any updates, still apparently sending beta tests out and redesigned so different it isn't even the same type of fan promised.
They are also selling it cheaper no delivery costs on their website while advising they expect kickstarter pledges to pay delivery and that this wasn't included in the pledge cost (which it was implied no further costs). Probably doesn't exist.

Scam company. No product.

I helped fund the kickstarter campaigne for a bladeless fan with air filters. Not only have I not gotten the fan... Haxon changed it to a blade fan with no filters. No refund for the filters and no refund for not getting the product. Scam company. I can't even put in the correct date here because it was so long ago.

Scam

unfortunately I have to put at least 1 star, but I would give zero, since 2021 they have been finding excuses not to send the Kickstarter and they do not give us the money back, despite the fact that they are continuing to change the delivery date and unsolicited changes to the project
We all want our money back

Absolute sham of a company

Absolute sham of a company. CEO down are all scammers and time wasters developing something that should have been some in a few months, not a few years.

The CEO should never put his CV across another desk - ever

SCAM ALERT

This “company” is actually just a scam run by Hacks, so they’re appropriately phonetically named.

They took $2M+ from Kickstarter backers more than 3 years ago and ran away with the money, never delivering the product that they claimed was “ready for production.”

In an added ironic note of hilarity, I can’t even put in the actual date of the supposed delivery (May 2022) because TrustPilot says it has to be within 12 months of today’s date. Gah, this company is a complete joke. 😂

Purchased their product offHaxson - Smart AirFan With 20 Features For Your Bed of…

Purchased their product off of Kickstarter. It was scheduled to be delivered a year later. They claimed they were in the production phase during the campaign. Shortly after the campaign ended they claimed that they wanted to rework the product to 'better fit the cunsumers needs' or something like that. It's now two years later (a year after scheduled delivery), and they've just recently sent an "update" claiming that they've just finished up their first 'engineering build' and of course - asked us to share links to their website where people can pre-purchase more of their non-existent goods. They're removing key feature promised in the campaign. The same campaign happened on Indiegogo and all users were refunded after Indiegogo considered the campaign a scam.
I asked for a refund and my email message was ignored.

Do not use unless you enjoy being scammed

They will scam you:
They will lie about production progress, the have Terms & Conditions that give you no protection or write to return / refund and, finally, the product you get will not be what they promise, show or advertise
