How HDNL stole Christmas....

You’re a mean one HDNL
You really are a Thief
You're as reliable as a chocolate tea pot
And have a customer service that doesn't care
HDNL!!
You're a bad company,
with the worst delivery record in the world!
You're a monster, HDNL!
Your drivers tell you fibs.
They say deliver goods .
When obviously they don't!!
HDNL!
I wouldn't touch you
With a thirty-nine-and-a-half foot pole!!!

To be honest at least the Grinch changed his ways, but after years of complaining you just change your name. I am currently waiting for a truthful answer to where my 2 year old's safety helmet and pads are and also his superhero books. Yesterday after complaining to Amazon that our order hadn't been delivered, you quickly change our details on your website to delivered!! But delivered to who?? Father Christmas??

Someone is telling porkies HDNL and its certainly not us!!!

The Delivery Company that doesn't deliver anything.

The only thing that this company delivers efficiently - or at all - is the worst service imaginable. To put it very simply: If you see that this company will be delivering your parcel, DO NOT order the parcel. I made the terrible mistake of ordering something from Amazon a couple of days ago without checking first to see if HDNL would be delivering, and I now accept fully that I will never, ever see it. So if you really need something delivered, find somebody else to do it. Even if it's Interlink Express or a gibbon on a bicycle, you are guaranteed to get it in better form and time than HDNL, and from somebody / something with more knowledge of how to run a delivery system.

My experience isn't as bad as some people's on here - ordered yesterday from Amazon on their '1 Day Delivery' service, tracking shows package 'with driver' since 9am this morning. It's now 9pm. Their depot is only 15 miles away. Tried phoning them but the phone number listed on their website is non operational. I've also heard several stories from friends. What every single one of them has in common - like every single review on this website and the opinion of every sane person to have ever done business with them - is that they state the service of this 'company' - not that it merits any name other than, simply, a singular, steaming lump of shit - is so astonishingly bad you can't respond in any way except shock. Everyone involved with this travesty of a company ought to be thoroughly ashamed of themselves.

deserve ZERO stars

Waited in all day for a delivery with Amazon joke "guaranteed delivery". Tracking said parcel sat at the local delivery HDNL depot since 7:45am this morning. Tracking recently said out for delivery and then 1 second later delivered. WOW fast vans or complete lies. My money is on the latter.... The item has not been delivered.

Come on Amazon ditch HDNL/Yodel. Your customers are getting frustrated.

Update. Upon investigation HDNL told Amazon that the driver had a signature from the me. Bunch of utter liars...

Time to stop buying from Amazon???

When oh when are Amazon going to start listening to their customers and ditch the apology for a delivery company called HDNL (Yodel). Other well known companies have already done so ie John Lewis Matalan etc so what is stopping Amazon.

I ordered an item using the free trial of Amazon Prime, pay them 50 quid and then get free or cheaper delivery charges for a year. Received an email confirming the order and giving delivery date today 14/12. Have stayed in all day waiting to receive the delivery having followed the tracking of it upto 0742 this morning. Neither myself nor my wife have left our home even for a minute. At 1154 there is an entry on the tracking site 'returned to seller - refused by customer'. Now today being Friday this is not going to be delivered until Monday at the earliest, which means another day wasted waiting for the van.

Amazon are very sorry and have contacted the delivery company who confirm it will be Monday (if I am lucky). This is not the first time I have had such bad service from this mickey mouse outfit, but it will be the last, as it is my intention to inform Amazon that any future orders that are scheduled to be delivery by this shambles, will be cancelled. Perhaps if they start losing customers they will do something about their delivery practices

Hardly Deliver Never Liked

Whenever I order from a retailer, usually Amazon and I see its via HDNL my heart always sinks. Yesterday I was expecting delivery but by 6pm nothing had arrived and I had to go out, when I looked on website it states parcel left with neighbour, but no card left to tell me which one.
Lego also use this firm and my last experience was they threw my package over the fence and left it in the pouring rain.
I can't understand why Amazon still use them when the other couriers always deliver, especially DPD who even give you a 1 hour time slot on the day and only once out of about 40 deliveries have they been outside of this. I wish DPD did all of Amazons parcels

Not even worth one star

As everyone else has noted Amazon continue to use this company however they have no intention of delivering any product within the stated timeframes.
They continue to state customers miss deliveries yet do not actually attempt to deliver anything to the address or if they have do not leave any note to state delivery attempted and missed.
I ordered 2 products on the 9th for delivery via Prime on 10th...when nothing received by 12th tracked package and was told I had missed delivery on 12th even tho I did not leave the house all day and no card left. Re arranged delivery for 13th and once again informed that I had missed delivery but no card left.
Amazon, get your act together and kick this rubbish into touch, strangely product ordered on 12th was delivered on the 13th via Royal Mail, professionals vs amateurs.

STUFF DELIVERED BUT NOT REALLY DELIVERED BY HDNL

I ordered a Samsung Smart TV end Nov. as a present from Amazon. Was never delivered but was marked as "Delivered" by HDNL. Complained to Amazon and they sent out a replacement straight away which I received the following day. I have since ordered quite a few items for Xmas presents, most of which arrived. I was waiting for three packages yesterday, two arrived (one from Royal Mail and the other from Parcel Force). The third was supposedly delivered by HDNL, and guess what it did not arrive but was marked as "Delivered" by HDNL. This was using Amazon Prime next day delivery. Spoke to Amazon today about it and asked for replacements. I wanted to know why HDNL could simply put that the package was delivered when it clearly wasn't. Didn't get an answer. I was in all day and spent most of it looking out of the window waiting for HDNL to arrive, not.
I won't be ordering anything else from Amazon. I have been a customer of theirs since their inception from Jungle.com. Too much hassle now.
***************************************************************************************
Package delivered this morning 13 December. Has been left in a damp place as the packaging was damp and the paperback book is misshapen and wavy. Other item, aftershave gift pack, appears to be ok. Book will be returned.

Worst service I've ever seen!!!

I ordered 2 items off Amazon, without ever hearing of this company so I thought nothing of it. I ordered late Thursday night, was dispatched on Friday, and I should have got it on Saturday. They are still yet to deliver it to me. (Note- this was next day delivery, I'm on prime.) I have rung them, countless times, and each time they have said you should get it today, or the driver attempted delivery, of which is all a lie, as I have been in this entire time.

Last night, I spoke with them again, and apparently, each parcel delivered is tracked with GPS. The funny thing is, according to the person on the other end of the phone, they were not once near my property. The driver is going to be pulled up, and maybe something will happen, I don't know. This is by far, without a doubt the worst service. I would recommend, never using them, and if you see they have your stuff, cancel it.

I only rate them 1 star, as i can not rate them any worse, but believe me, I would if I could!

Zero!

Well it would be if you could enter a zero rating. Yet another "next day" guarantee delivery from Amazon that has not materialised. Yet for some reason Amazon continue to use this bunch. Amazon were due to deliver 3 packages to my address today. Two arrived via other couriers and true to form HDNL missed their delivery. I have spent all day at home waiting for these guys. If you can possibly avoid doing so then DO NOT USE under any circumstance.

Useless and dishonest

Ordered a laptop and paid extra for a speedy delivery. HDNL failed to move it 15 miles in 12 and a half hours and, after waiting in all day, had the audacity to claim they attempted delivery and left a card, which they didn't.

Anybody who is unfortunate enough to have their order handled by this carrier should cancel it at the earliest opportunity.

**FYI*** Even though your contract is with the seller and not the courier, you can't even query things with this company unless they truthfully leave a card with an 8 digit reference number. So that's zero customer support for missing items.

Crap service - liars!

I had 3 parcels under the 'Prime' service with Amazon and for some reason this week they are all coming via HDNL. They were due to be delivered on Monday and according to the Amazon website (which I can only assume comes from information that HDNL supply them) my parcels were delivered at 1109 03 Dec! However on checking the HDNL website they went out for delivery on 04 Dec was then returned and went back out again on the 05 Dec and no more information after that. I contacted amazon who said that looking through the records that it says there was no access to the property! I am on a Military Base that has 24hr manning at the main guard room, this company has delivered (slowly) to the address in the past (unfortunately the OU use them too) and they are aware they should arrive before 5pm for the main post room and carry identification just like all the other delivery companies that have no problems with delivering packages.

I even called them once to hold a package so that I could collect it myself which they assured me they had put aside when I got to the depot (it’s a 40 minute drive away) the parcel was nowhere to be seen and so they called the driver who said he had just delivered it to me and updated there system saying it was signed for by me which was a lie as I was stood in the depot!

Would of given 0 stars but need 1 just to rate them.

Do not use them, on many occasions they have 'delivered' my items yet i have not received them. One even stated 'Delivered - left on porch' - i don't even have a porch and surprise surprise i never got my item. I have no idea why Amazon use them!

They are either thieves or imbeciles perhaps both who knows. All i know is DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR DELIVERIES unless not receiving your order is what you are after!

I do not trust anything they say!!

I have been let down once again by HDNL delivery service who pretend that they have attempted a delivery and left a card but I can prove now on two different occasions thet they make up different stories to cover up that they are not capable of delivering items when they say they will. Last time I was told a card had been left when they attempted a delivery but on asking the driver the next day he told me that he had returned to the depot because of a mechanical problem with the van. Yesterday I was told that a card had been left at my address at mid day, totally made up, and today they promised delivery but I have been in all day and still nothing. Amazon must do something about this very very poor service, It does not look good on them!!

Now known as Yodel. More like YO-LOL.

I can't believe Amazon are still using these last minute.com amateurs. Once I ordered a TV and it went 'missing'. After a while Amazon had to just take charge and send out another one express delivery free of charge.

Recently I ordered some clothes and it had a tracking number. I clicked on it after a day or so and nothing there. Tried every day for a few more days and at last I get a response. To my horror it's HDNL and they have only just got around to processing the order. Usually despite having selected free delivery most other parcel services beat the estimated delivery dates by a few days because they are well organised and offer a good customer service. HDNL/YODEL on the other hand are content to just either get the delivery to you on the exact day Amazon has estimated or worse afterwards because they can argue delivery times are just estimates and they are legally entitled to be late by a few more days. To me that's just rubbish service.

I can only assume the reason behind Amazon using them is because Yodel must have offered Amazon a stupidly cheap deal that none of the other superior services can match and probably contracted to do so for a set number of years at the least. I just hope one day Amazon comes to their senses and stops using them for good.

Very Poor - no customer service at all

Ordered some books via Amazon - they should have been delivered on the 9th Nov - waited in all day, called Amazon - they said HDNL tried to deliver them at 09:00, well is was in No Card was left.

Called Amazon as without a Card Number I couldn't speak to HDNL, they arranged to the books to be delivered on Saturday and if I was out for them to be left in the porch.

Arrived home, checked on the Amazon web site, they were delivered to a neighbours house 5minutes before, no house number quoted no Card left at my address.

Called Amazon, they said they were left at house number 37 - however there is not a 37 on my street !

Called Amazon back, they could not get hold of HDNL as they had gone home at 13:00

This if the 5th time we have had problems with HDNL - Will Never be using both companies again

Don't use HDNL

I ordered some boots from office, they were to be delivered within 5-7 days. The parcel was delivered quite quickly however it was left on the doorstep. Someone was in the house when they said the package had arrived on the website, however never heard a knock on the door and there was no postcard put through the door to say that the package had been put in a safe place and as we don't use our front door very much i found the package the next morning, thank god it hadn't been stolen as those were an expensive pair of shoes!!!!! But at least they turned up, read all the horror stories on here of HDNL lying about it being delivered when it was sitting in some warehouse somewhere.
