Quick and efficient with the claim and payment

Claim was simple to make, the online form is easy to follow and the payment was made directly into my bank. Happy to recommend

I only usually claim once per year for routine dental stuff. Always quick and efficient. No hassle.

I’ve now submitted the same £330 MRI claim three times. Rather than clearly explaining why they won’t pay it, Health Shield repeatedly asks for further information and resubmission, despite already having the referral and supporting documentation.

The communication has been particularly poor. I eventually had to read through the policy myself to work out what they were actually objecting to. My MRI was clinically referred by an HCPC-registered Senior Specialist Podiatrist and reported by a GMC-registered Consultant Radiologist, yet Health Shield appears remarkably reluctant to settle what is ultimately a very small claim.

The amount of bureaucracy, unclear communication and stress involved over £330 is completely disproportionate. As this benefit is provided through my employer, Cencora, I’ll also be sharing the experience and correspondence with our benefits team.

This is what is called efficient service delivery. Keep up the good work. The claim was easily processed and the payment fast.

One of the things I appreciate most is how straightforward it is to manage my account online. The online account is easy to navigate, making it simple to submit claims, check information and manage my benefits without any unnecessary hassle.

The claims process is also very efficient, and I have been particularly impressed with how quickly payments are processed. It is reassuring to know that claims are dealt with promptly and that the whole process is convenient and straightforward.

Overall, Health Shield provides a very good service, with great options, an easy-to-use online account and quick payments. The combination of convenience, efficiency and good customer service has made my experience very positive. I would definitely recommend Health Shield to others.

Have made 2 claims for optical now. Easy to make claims and the turnaround is literally 2-3 days before you receive notification it has gone through. Money in my bank in less than a week. Brilliant 👏

Have been using Healthshield for approx 6y.
In general no real negatives other than the submission system could really do with a bit of modernisation.

They Don't make things clear . I was advised I could book Treatment only to be told later that It had to be performed by a certain dentist with a certain GMC certificate and not a GDC Of course how silly of me not to know they aren't accepted . I booked as my local dentist couldn't perform the procedure? . Otherwise I wouldn't of gone private. Extremely Disappointed and Obviously out of pocket !

The speed of the payments is great. However I have tried to upload a receipt for some glasses I boght online and it wouldnt accept it
