Exemplary customer service
I bought a floor standing light as a present for Christmas 2024. It wasn’t cheap but is a really good one. I had a couple of problems with it; one of which in my opinion is a minor design fault. However, without any quibble or hesitation a replacement was sent.
This is exemplary customer service and I have no hesitation at all in recommending this company. You get what you pay for and that includes after sales care.
Ordered and paid - no item received
Ordered an item, paid for it and then heard nothing for a week. No dispatch email, no shipping information. I contacted Heamar via email about my missing item and have not received an email back yet. My experience has been negative so far, their customer service leaves a lot to be desired. If I haven't heard anything soon, I will have to reverse charge the item and raise a credit card dispute.

I’m very happy with both the customer service and the product. I ordered an item that was out of stock, and the team promptly contacted me to let me know there would be a short wait and to confirm if that was okay. The products actually arrived earlier than expected, and the quality is excellent. I ordered the Mag lamp and Stand, and both are really great — I couldn’t be happier. Highly recommended!

Great service on 1st order
Having never heard of this company before I was dubious about using them for the first time but did check out some of the Trustpilot reviews first.
I have to say that the magnifying lamp I ordered was the best price I could find so took a chance. I ordered Saturday afternoon and the item arrived Tuesday morning. What great service, and I am very pleased with the item in question.

My fault item was out of stock… apparently
Item showing as in stock ‘standard courier delivery 2-3 days’
Ordered and received email next day explaining item was out of stock and would be approx. three weeks. Called them to cancel the order- offered to refund but not without a snarky comment about how the whole thing was my fault as I ‘should have read their Ts and Cs’ because they apparently explain that items are listed as ‘in stock’ when they aren’t and are actually a 2/3 week lead time. I enquired about whether alternatives were in stock but he didn’t seem interested saying ‘I don’t think so’. Guy was properly rude. Another staff member then wrote me a backpedaling apology email asking me to reconsider. Jokers- will never use again.

Terrible company to deal with
Terrible company to deal with. Prices all over the show with multiple listings clearly deliberately low. Really poor customer service, started their reply by putting “ you're going to think were really silly” we haven’t got the item in stock - its going to be 3-4 weeks, then had another reply saying the cost is ten times the qouted price…. You couldn't make it up, how on earth do companies like this exist.

She spoke to someone in sales for some advice - he was extremely helpful and very pleasant. The light was ordered on Wednesday lunch time and arrived by lunchtime the following day. 30 minutes after ordering an led daylight lamp for my workshop I was notified that it had been dispatched. It was duly delivered by Royal Mail less than 24 hours after ordering. Nothing short of brilliant! That’s what I call service. The quality of the light, a native task lamp onyx is also great, perfect for wood carving. I have no hesitation in recommending both this company and the product.

I have been using Heamar off and on for years to buy small tools for my craft work and I recently purchased a Daylight Lumi Task Lamp. I absolutely love it! Heamar was the cheapest stockist online for the lamp and my lamp arrived so quickly (practically the next day)! Another thing I like about Heamar is that they only stock good quality products, so you can be sure that you buying an item that will be of good value and serve you well! I would definitely recommend them.

I purchased a daylight lamp about 14…
I purchased a daylight lamp about 14 months ago from Heamar, and it developed a fault. The lamp manufacturer offered a two year warranty and so I contacted Heamar. They were very helpful and confirmed that they would be able to replace the lamp as I really liked the original product. They kept me very well informed throughout the process with the replacement arriving within a few days.
Fantastic customer service! Will definitely be using Heamar as my first point of call for any additional products.
No stock, chaos and confusion
I waited a week before they told me one of the items I orderd was discontinued by the maker, I agreed to go for a similar item they suggested to me, then realised they did not have it in stock either. Waited two weeks for it to be shipped, received the wrong item. Then they asked to pay for the return to get a refund. So called them again and they said they will arrange a collection, have to wait for my refund for another few days... chaotic!
Very pleased with service and communication!
I had never heard of Heamar until it came up in search results while browsing for a specific set of pliers. The prices were much better than what I had found elsewhere! I did a bit of research on the company before ordering. I ordered in the evening, and in the morning customer service messaged me that an item (or more, it wasn't specified) was on backorder, and I was given the option to wait or to cancel. I opted to wait as it wasn't urgent. I received multiple emails over the following days keeping me up to date on when delivery was expected.
Seeing that the order hadn't yet shipped I messaged customer service to request if one item could be canceled. Customer service promptly removed the item from my order and issued a refund for that part, and my order was at my doorstep within two days.
Heamar's customer service is excellent. I'm very pleased and would order from them again.
