This had to be the worst hotel experience i've had. We booked a Superior double room which according to website had Bathrobes, Air Conditioning or Climate Control.
The website stated normal double rooms are on floors 1 and 2. We were allocated a small room on floor 2, this room had no air conditioning or bathrobes. We spoke to receptionist who tried to tell us this was a superior double room. She eventually agreed to move us to floor 3. This room had no air conditioning, no bathrobes, the toilet cistern was continually running, the windows opened onto the kitchen fan extractor, which was really noisy and smelly. All in all not a good nights sleep at all!!

I have never ever seen a menu that had prices showing that they were exclusive of VAT - except following a meal at the Hertford House! Menu included reference to the service charge, but it wasn’t until the bill arrived that the 20% VAT was added.
