Price was fair and check in and out was smooth. However, I caught a rock in the windshield while driving and the texted incident report I filled out kept failing to submit due to I presume a software glitch. And I was charged $440.00 for the windshield and $88 administration fee. Other than that, a smooth transaction.

The best car rental in downtown Austin
The downtown Austin Hertz location is in the perfect spot for easy pick up and drop off. Larry was extremely helpful and made sure that I had everything I needed from start to finish and that my rental went smoothly.

Car was OK running - but had an unexplained error message — always on display, still not sure what the problem was. I did *Really appreciate* the convenience of being able to change location for car pickup from the airport to the downtown location without having an additional charge…..people at the 10th street location were very helpful!
