Given an electric vehicle after purchasing a Gas SUV which made our planned road trip severely inconvenient. The car then needed servicing as it had a coolant issue and the Hertz employees were largely unhelpful about figuring out where to go and how to get a replacement vehicle. Had to drive 3 hours out of our way back to Portland to a different location where we finally received a working vehicle. Very frustrating experience
It was a nightmare! There were no cars available, despite my prepaid reservation. We were late, and almost missed the wedding, which was our reason for traveling to Portland. Other customers had the same problem and the counter staff was rude and not very helpful.
