Fast and easy process. Nice car too.

Pick up was smooth and the car provided was excellent this time. Made up for the terrible experience I had with my previous rental from Hertz Burbank.

The SUV we rented was clean and well maintained.

It was fine. I’m a little annoyed by how much you requested this survey. We got redirected to Orange County and had to book another car. We scheduled a 1 way delivery. We figured we’d try and just get the correct car once we got to San Diego but you ran out of vehicles despite us having a reservation. I work in hotels so I get the principal of overselling perfectly doesn’t make it less irritating to be on the receiving end. We returned the next day and were given a hard time for not picking up our vehicle the night prior despite you running out of vehicles. Like I said it was fine. It all worked out in the end. I’m not overly happy with your company but it won’t stop me from renting in the future simply because of American Express’s partnership with you. Just know that is why I come back not because of your company or the service we are provided especially after this last trip

Charged me wrong for gas and nobody responds my call!! I a president member but I guess they don’t care.

When I returned my car I asked if they had wheelchair service to the airport. They did not! BUT, they offered to drive me to the terminal and they did! I was so appreciative for this extra service!!

John Wayne facility very easy to work with.

I thought there would be the Board with my name on it, but no, stand in line. What is up with that?? Also, guy forgot to give me back my driver's license. Luckily, I realized this as I was about to walk off.

I don't understand the purpose of having a tier/rewards system. This airport does not allow for customers to choose their own car. What is the benefit to being in Presidents Circle if I end up with a Nissan Altima that Hertz chose for me?

The car had a bad body odor smell that stuck onto my clothes. I couldn’t get rid of it after trying to wipe down the car. I called my pickup location about 15 times and no one would pick up. I called multiple other locations in the area and they didn’t pick up either. I went back to try to swap out car and they said they were very busy so I would have to wait a very long time. I ultimately dropped off the car early since I couldn’t take it anymore. This made my trip very stressful and ruined some of my plans.

They continue to have issues with checking me in. They asked for my credit card every single time despite the fact that it’s established on the account and the last two times I’ve received a vehicle that wasn’t a match to my request. This was after I was confirmed to get the vehicle that I had requested.

The car was well selected and very comfortable.
