Hesperia Bristol playa

I would advise anyone wishing to stay at this hotel in Fuerteventura to reconsider.
I have spent 3 weeks at this resort, and to say there were ants everywhere was an understatement.
I had a self contained apartment and couldn’t bring any food into the apartment due to the amount of ants over every surface, inside food packaging and even in the bedroom, the wardrobe, and over all my clothes.
The hotel were informed and fumigated the apartment regularly but the ants continued throughout my stay, even with a rigorous twice daily cleaning schedule by myself, they still continued to stay. I even had to wash out the kettle before each use as they were found on and in the kettle daily.
I was told by the hotel rep I could move hotel (at a further cost) as it was extreme ,but that there were no apartments to move to during this season. It was a very hard stay for the 3 weeks.
I overheard several other guests complaining of the Ants in their apartments whilst waiting for the rep at the resort
The cleaning at the hotel is scarce, maybe if they upped the cleaning regime as I had to my whole stay x twice daily, they may be able to eliminate these pests that really are hard to live with.
The repair at the hotel is minimal and it looks in poor condition, it is budget friendly, but in my opinion not worth the stay even at the lower cost.
This hotel could do with a total revamp and daily fumigation to rid them of these awful Ants.
I won’t be returning to this hotel and certainly wouldn’t recommend it to others.

I felt the rep was very complacent, and of no assistance to my situation during my stay here.

Hesperia Bristol Playa well what can I say this place is an absolute joke 1 room clean per week staff in hotel rude and arrogant room was covered in ants unclean rusty fridge asked to keep room on as its 12oclock check out as we weren't leaving for flight until 6pm where asked to call back on leaving day went to reception at 8.30 that morning to be told to come back at 10am to b to no we couldn't keep room on in speaking with other guests we where told you could book a shower room so 1/2 hr for 3 people to get showered and dressed when my partner went to get fresh clothes from are cases he was told he could tnot access them slamming down a piece of paper with their rules which neither of us where shown previous never came across the most rudest and unhelpful staff in all.my time would never return here

First time in life I found being a vegetarian hard especially when the world is becoming vegan and veg with a lot of allergies.

There are a few things here I want to discuss about this trip. This trip was special for me and my 12 year old daughter and quite pricey too being school holidays and December month for Christmas and new year.

Booking a all inclusive for seven days on arrival did mention that we are vegetarian and your restaurant has very little to offer, was told by staff that I need to see the guests relations in regards to this, which I did was told that they have a restaurant called volcano which has more choices which only opens for dinner and breakfast only. So my first day was discovering and getting to know how there system works.

Second day went to see the guest relations again speaking to them about cross contamination that they don’t even have separate tongs as people are using the same to pick up meat when the chips is next too it. Solution given that we will bring your food from the kitchen, I was very happy till on the 3rd day when I did order from the kitchen I get boiled veg top boiled noodles with absolute on flavour.

Now being 3rd day where my daughter has had bread, spaghetti, pizza for lunch and dinner and myself have had boiled veg 3 and there 39 shredded salads.

Arriving on the 26th now being the 30th back & forward with guest relations and staff I had along day just wanted some good food yet arriving at the restaurant same food. I asked to speak with the manager this is 7pm was told he is not in the building when he walk right pass me, I approached him and said I really need to have a meeting with you as things are not working out for me, the answer I got back was speak to my staff ( sorry which I found is this not professional as a manager) anyways I had to tell him that for the past 4 days I am speaking with your staff and now I need to speak to someone higher. With a lot of effort he took my details out and asked his staff but was my problem ( which staff was all new because of the shuffled change so they have no clue what my problem has been).

After sometime I was called in there meeting room to discuss what my problem was!! Where we had the

When discussing the matter what is happening for past couple of days, I was told by Mr. Jerez to go down to the restaurant and see what they can do for me and to give them another chance to make things right, Franky speaking I think I have given enough chances to make things right in the last four days and things are not working out.

Mr. Jerez said he feeds 900 people and no one is like me it’s all in my head( these are his words) can I explain that these 900 people don’t have to eat the same food everyday morning & evening the amount of choices these 900 people have why would they complain?

All I was trying to say to them food here is not working out for me and I am having to eat out couple of times when I have paid here already I thinks it’s just fair that my food bill are reimbursed Mr. Jerez said that this has been my motive from the beginning and I am wasting his time, sitting in that room with 3 men I found myself very humiliating, and embarrassed that this is what my holiday has turned into when the Manager says this was my motive like I have nothing better to on this trip & I can found somewhere else.

I feel very discussed because everything about the resort was good just the food was a problem and I was only asking for the food.

When asked his F&B Manger what Veg is at the restaurant on the 30th he had no clue what was cooked there that evening.
He also said that they will speak too the agency where we have booked from that this is our motive to get compensation back and that’s why we are doing this.
that’s not true I went in there because I feel we have paid so much and we are getting ripped off by them. But it has become that I am in the wrong.
