We flew to Ibiza A Birthday Nightmare at Hi Ibiza – An Experience I’ll Never Forget for All the Wrong Reasons on 27th September…
We flew to Ibiza on 27th September (yesterday) for what was supposed to be a special birthday treat – seeing David Guetta & Morten’s Future Rave at Hi Ibiza. After spending €200 on tickets, I had high expectations, but what I experienced was nothing short of a disaster.
The venue was incredibly overcrowded, packed to the point that I felt like a sardine. At just 5ft 4, I was constantly knocked around, elbowed, and physically pushed by groups of both men and women. It felt more like a fight in a boxing ring than a night out. My partner did his best to shield me, but it was impossible. I was repeatedly hit, had drinks spilt all over me, and felt completely trapped in a sea of people.
We arrived early, around 11:30, to secure a good spot in the theatre, but that didn’t help. No matter where we stood, we were shoved towards the back. By the time David Guetta finally came on, I couldn’t hear his introduction, couldn’t see a thing, and was completely overwhelmed by the chaos around me. It was beyond belief how dreadful the entire experience was.
What was supposed to be the highlight of my birthday turned into a nightmare. I was so upset and disappointed that we had to leave the venue early. By the time we got back to the hotel, I was in tears, literally sobbing, my birthday event was completely ruined.
Hi Ibiza is, without question, the worst club I have ever been to. The overcrowding, the aggressive behaviour of the crowd, and the lack of any real security to handle the situations in the thick of the crowds made the night unbearable. Waking up the next morning, Right now, I still feel extremely tearful about the whole experience, especially knowing I never got to experience David Guetta’s set – something I was looking forward to for months.
If you’re thinking of going to Hi Ibiza, especially for a big event, I would strongly advise against it. The place is unsafe! I was genuinely scared for my safety, surrounded by people out of control. It’s only a matter of time before something terrible happens – this place is a disaster waiting to make headlines. I left feeling shaken, ripped off, and heartbroken, with my birthday completely ruined.
When they sell tickets for this venue they don’t sell for the room that David Guetta or the main DJ is playing in, they sell tickets for the whole capacity of the whole venue. So dangerous!!! That room can probably hold a third at most of the amount of tickets sold. No sign of security on the main floor they just hang around outside. They missed several horrible incidents!!!! No hope of safety in there!!!
