The sales staff at Himalaya Carpet were great in helping us choose our carpet. I had my own measurements so a visit was not necessary. They quickly sourced the carpet from their supplier. Fitting was carried out on the appointed date ( I am not sure if the fitters were employees or sub-contractors ). Happy with the installation.

Great range in-store, quick measurements arranged, Nav came to take measurements, knew his stuff!
The staff bend over backwards to make the fitting date work even if it means getting a fitter out on a Sunday. They seem to look after returning customers, which is great! This is truely a family business, I feel I can go into the warehouse, browse, take a seat, ask for a coffee and nothing is an issue for the staff who work here. The owners son (I am sorry- I don't know your name, Ganita, Nav and so many others in the team, thank you for a great service.
The only downside - the fitters are contractors and not HC's employees so they don't seem to have a HC customer service approach. That being said, the two chaps who fitted the Vinyl in last week were great!

Excellent customer service! They accommodated our last-minute requests very well and have knowledgeable staff. The range of carpets is also great. I had a problem with miscommunication regarding my carpet installation preference but I am still quite pleased with them. I would be going there again.

This is the third time we have used Himalaya carpets and the 3rd time we have not been disappointed - the arrive when they say they will and then do a fantastic job when fitting our new carpet - I strongly recommend them and will definitely use them again.

We have just had our second carpet in 6 months fitted by Himalaya carpets and we are so impressed with the price and service that we’ve today ordered our third. Everytime we have had fitting confirmed for within 2 weeks of purchase, the fitters and quick and efficient and the carpets are much better value than the big chains. For our first carpet they even sourced the exact one I had found in one of the big chains and were able to supply and fit it much cheaper than my quote from the other place. (Note that the chains change the names of the carpets but Himalaya found out which one it was for me by speaking direct with the manufacturer). The Himalaya shop has plenty of choice so you needn’t visit the big chains, we haven’t for our second and third carpets and unlikely will for any future ones we purchase.

Arrived in the time specified was quick and efficient, cleared any excess carpets and rubbish, carpet fitters did a very good job, I've used hymalyian carpets before and I'm very happy with the service .

I would always recommend Himalaya carpets, as iv always had a great experience with them on price and quality and care thanks guys see u again soon 😊

Have used these guys several times over the years from a full house fit out when we moved in, to revamps of rooms, always been helpful, well priced and courteous.
Fitters also do a good job and I will be coming back again to Himalayan for the hall/stairs in a few months.

Found the carpet I needed at a reasonable price with fitting included and no hidden charges. The fitters arrived on time and cleared up all off cuts and we're done and dusted within an hour. No complaints at all. I'd use them again.

I used their services in the past and was happy with them. This time the store purchase was ok, no issues but it was the fitters. ⁩
I often use them to buy carpets from them but this time their fitter, they know the name, was a nightmare. First this oversmart fitter asked me to take off low hanging lights, which of course I couldnt. Then he put my brand new carpet on the dirty drive outside where the cats were parked, when I asked him what is he doing as all the dirt from the drive, where the cars are parked will be put on the new carpet, this unprofessional defended it and said we do this everywhere. Then inspite of my repeated calls to bring shoe covers, he didn't and was coming and going outside multiple times and putting his filthy shoes on my new carpets. After that this careless cowboy broke my skirting and when I asked him to fix it, he said you can buy silicone from b&q and fix it. He further scratched my front door and in the morning, when I looked outside, this scumbag left screws on my drive, even though I asked them to check specifically for screws etc in the drive, as my cars are parked there and where they had all their fitting filth, but he said there's nothing there. He left a bag full of carpet threads on my carpet that took me two hours to hoover, even though the traders clean up their own mess.Such was the story of this disgusting fitter of Himalaya carpets and when I called them up to tell all this, all I could hear was sorry sir...wat a laugh....anyway I will not use their services anymore, tell my all friends and family to stay clear of them, as in the past I recommended many to them...but now use Carpetright, Tapi carpets or Cosi Carpets or another but not them...unless u want to face all of the above.
The reply from the business is a bundle of lies, the fitter put the new carpet on the dirty drive, then I went out and put my old carpets on the drive and asked the clown to put the new one on the old. He also did no take off his dirty shoes inspite of my repeated reminders and kept climbing on the new carpets with his filthy joggers, also he broke the skirting. Carpet is loose only after few months and left a huge mess...very surprising how these dodgy businesses lie on our face...Shame...

The sales lady was very helpful in finding the right carpet. The fitters were very quick and tidy.
