Very helpful and friendly people to talk to. I wasn't sure about some aspects but we chatted through them and I had plenty of time to come back with more questions and answers. The price was reasonable and unlike some other companies, I felt I could trust them because they were very honest with me.
The customer service representative (Elaine Webster) was so helpful and pleasant without putting pressure on for a sale. My agreement to purchase took several weeks due to varying circumstances but Elaine remained cheerful and in good humour all through. It was a pleasure to deal with her.

From the first telephone communication with HMCA it felt right, having not changed a health insurance provider for decades. Unusually nowadays HMCA provides a personal service. The process of moving from one provider to another was simple even when I struggled to find old paperwork to support our previous cover (as there had been a short break in cover between HMCA and our previous provider) the staff could not have been more patient and helpful. The whole process was easy and such a relief to have come across HMCA.

Signing up proved o be a simple and straightforward process. Staff were very approachable and efficient and answer the phone promptly. Cover appears to be very reasonable compared with major providers. First impressions are encouraging, although yet to experience making a claim.
This was my first contact with HMCA customer service, having recently joined the company from BUPA. I was calling to initiate a claim to see a medical consultant. Whilst I admit to being unclear about the claim process, the customer service agent was unsympathetic, unhelpful and very process driven. Within a short space of time I was passed to a supervisor who did answer my concerns and resolved my query very efficiently. The whole experience I have to say was in complete contract to BUPA who always made such initial approaches as painless and unbureaucratic as possible.
