HMV is my favourite shop
HMV is my favourite shop, not just because of the wealth of physical media but because of the sales staff also, including the manager Andy, and the Assistant Managers. I love going down their and spending time with them, sharing our knowledge of movies, and passing them any information that I have on upcoming movies or movie trivia. I can't remember the name of the person who retrieved my pre-orders, but she had dyed blonde hair and ponytail, and wore glasses. She was lovely, as always. Upstairs when I went to search for some more movies, I was assisted by Nicky, and she's always very nice to me.

Not particularly polite
My order took a few days to arrive, a little longer than expected. The young lady I collected from in the Sheffield store was not particularly friendly, in fact I do not believe she spoke at all. Perhaps some customer training is required, it was very noticeable unfortunately.

Disappointed Experience
I collected my purchase two weeks ago. Unfortunately, when it opened as a gift yesterday my friend found that with some obvious dirt. Maybe next time I won't order online, this is the second time the order had problems.

Satisfaction guaranteed .
My visit was mainly to collect a 'replacement' LP which the store had ordered in for me due to the previous one being damaged . The staff were more than happy to help and got me the said item in only a few days . The HMV staff are always very helpful and make sure your visit / inquiry is delt with to our satisfaction .

I had to return a defective LP
I had to return a defective LP. Dave, who served me not only sorted out a refund but ordered a replacement record to be delivered to my home as there wasn't one in stock.
In short, it was all sorted efficiently and I ended up spending more money whilst I was there looking at other records!!
