This place changed my life
This place changed my life! In 2014 I joined the "democrazy" spring course for 12 weeks right after I came home from a volunteer year in east-africa. Here I lived with young people in my age from around 10 different countries, mainly europe. I learned so many things, and it probably upgraded my whole social lifestyle.
After my volunteer year I was complete cut off from european dailyday routine. Højskolen Østersøen (HØ) brought me back to a working rhythm which made me ready for entering university a couple of weeks later. Some friendships of our "democrazy" class even still exists. The most lovely people in the world (both students and staff), amazing common meals - even cake in the evening (danish tradition, "aftenskaffe"), an own bar in the basement, plenty of common area for socialising... it's really hard not to miss HØ. Although I will NEVER forget our amazing talks, parties, trips (even to Brussel and Amsterdam) and our occasional very hard laughs (!) which made fantastic memories for the rest of our life! ♥ ♥ ♥
Every morning singing together right after breakfast - obligatoric. Tradition. Just wonderful. I'm proud that I was a part of this! Let's care the HØ spirit out in this world, they need it... we need it! =) ♥
