James consistently delivers and exceeds in customer service and care. I placed two small but separate orders over a weekend and I fully expected the postage for both to be charged but James refunded me one without any prompting. Small things perhaps but just another example of how much care James takes.

I bought the Mcnelly pickups and solderless harness for HS telecaster. This is single most pleasant buying experience. James was amazing all throughout. Giving bespoke recommendations and guidance throughout. I don't have any experience modifying guitars, but James was fantastic and patient helping me through it. Highly recommend James and Home of Tone if you're looking to upgrade your gear or looking to start a new project.

I ordered a tesi arcade kill switch from James home of tone as this was much cheaper than ordering from America.
I received the switch within a few days, it arrived perfectly packaged with a couple of stickers and business card nice added touch, will be using him again for parts.

Besides the fantastic service and communication answering all my questions the harnesses I received are beyond any expectations. The quality of the components are the very best, the craftsmanship is absolutely perfect. I bought 6 harnesses from James for a tele, strats, Jazzmasters after the installation the guitars have zero hum. Single coils total silence and the tone is just perfect, beautiful.
