ABSOLUTELY WORST Homestay-company ever!!
I do not recommend anyone (international student or not) to use this company to find a place to stay at while studying in Southern California. It is a waste of your money as they are only interested in making a profit and not genuinely care about the student nor do they care about what's best for the student either. The brief description they give you of the host families are not up-to-date and they leave out very important information (Like the host mother is suffering from mentally illness - that info could have been very thoughtful to provide). Furthermore, Jae, the leader of this company, fails to sympathize with those students, who unfortunately get into conflicts with their host families. It is sad that he takes their side and inform the college (which the student attends) about the issue and thus bash the student to the principal. What is the point in doing that? To kick the student out of the college? According to their site, they have over 21 years of "experience" but still they fail to manage a proper and decent host family for the students. I think this is indeed the worst part. Do NOT make the same mistakes as I did. Stay away from this company. There are so many reliable and trustworthy companies in Southern California - do not trick yourself into getting into this one.
