BY FAR the best remote desktop program. It's free, it's easy to use (similar to the famous ones), it has a great application on mobile, and it's open source. In my opinion, it's too good to be true. They only thing I would improve is the file transfer, so that user can drag and drop files from computer to computer (and maybe improve the handling of a remote mobile device, although that might depend on each device). Awesome program. Let's hope they don't make it expensive to use 😜

I used Rustdesk, which is Foss and privacy conscious. but the main issue i faced was that it was some times slow and lags. That's not the case with Hoptodesk!. But one thing i want to point out is that is that FileTransfer button was not workind during session, dunno why. Overall Loved the app and Security and performance it provides.

I use it on mac. it is very good in general. but I have sudden closures of desks where I connect

Simple to use, light and fast, but need add command ctrl+alt+del, to unlock windows.

Some issues, when you install the icon goes to taskbar in righ side, after this open the HopToDesk, the icon disappear of taskbar.

But its very stable connection, no lag and best point is for free.

Its unable to be fully installed on windows 7 computers, the password setting feature doesnt update.

Hop to desk works very well & reliably for remote access --also it has a smaller file size than many alternatives. And its free for personal and for business use. These aspects make it my "go-to" remote access program.

It's a great help to access our clients, as we are a small business, it helped us a lot, there are many others tools, but very expensive.

I have a router on my network and the app doesn't work, it works only if I grant full access to the internet.
Can you help me informing the IPs used to connect on the hoptodesk network?

Another problem, when I connect to the computer and finish access I can't connect again after sometime, it only works when I restart the service on the destiny computer.

Excellent program, I highly recommend it, it has everything I need

In windows it is not possible to access screens where administrative permission is required.
Ex. registry editor,
Installing a printer where it requires accepting the driver installation.

It is also not possible to install and put a password on the hop when I am accessing it through the hop itself.

Je viens de connaitre HopToDesk et vraiment tres content. Au depart on cherche un peu mais tres facile d'utilisation. Par contre je sais pas si il y a moyen au niveau de la souris je suis gaucher.

I just got to know HopToDesk and I'm really happy. At the beginning we are looking for a little but very easy to use.
But I don't know if there is a way to use the mouse, I am left-handed.

HopToDesk comes in windows, mac and linux versions, and multiple languages .small in size , most importantly its FREE.

Easier way to control your devices with remote access better than Teamviewer and free .. hope in the future will support iOS

I cannot stand TeamViewer, I was a personal user and they kept saying I was a business user. I switch over to HopToDesk where they don't care if I am personal/ business.

I just started using this HopToDesk program after TeamViewer.
For a number of reasons, I abandoned TeamViewer. You know, this program works very well for me personally, I have not found any significant drawbacks.
I recommend trying and evaluating HopToDesk
