I looked closely at how this provider/broker offers all properties at a slightly cheaper price than booking.com or hostelworld.com. I though "mmmm. too good to be true?, a hotel in the center of Venice, in the middle of the carnival? It's offer for the same property was 40% cheaper than in Booking.com. I was about to book, but with a strange sensation... I'm glad I did not. A friend called me right as I was debating whether to pay, and told me of the HORRID experience she had recently with this new system, how they took her money and NEVER made a real reservation. "Avoid like the plague" she said... and I believe her! After she told me this, I came to see the reviews and good deliverance! aren't they bad!

DO NOT USE THIS! I had the same problem as others in Tenerife. They did not have any reservation. I was lucky, they had a free bed. I lost 5 euros. It is a fake institution:(
It is my fault, be more careful than I had been.

I admit that I should have made more research on this site before making a booking. My experience was very similar to many others here. When I got to my hostel in Paris, the hostel did not find a booking. I showed them the booking confirmation email I had received, but it was of no help. The worst part was that I arrived in the evening and the hostel was full, so I found myself wandering around Paris at night looking for a place to sleep.
Do not use this site, or you will face the same faith as I did.

Sold room in a hostel in Budapest. Got there. No reservation. Never heard of the organisation.
Called the telephone number on the website and it picks up but nothing there.

Scam website. They take your booking fee and create a false booking. When I arrived at my destination they had no record of my booking and dont even work with this 'hostels club'. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE. I didn't even care for the $4.50, but the stress of arriving at 22:00 in Naples and not having a booking or bed to sleep in was horrible. This website should be torn down. DONT USE.

I have a booking today at the hostel in the confirmation email that I've forwarded below. I arrived at the hostel two hours ago expecting to be able to check-in, only for the manager to tell me that Hostelsclub had cancelled my reservation. I received NO email or notification that they were cancelling my booking and now I was suddenly in a foreign country without a place to stay at night for the next week and without internet to try to figure something out.

As someone who wrestles with mental health and neurodivergence, this type of situation can be debilitating, sending me straight into panic-mode and hyperventilation. I tried calling the number on the website and it didn't go through. This is absolutely appalling, how is anyone supposed to trust this service if basic communication isn't maintained?

The manager at the hostel said that the reason for the cancellation was an issue with my card HOWEVER, the payment for reserving the booking went through so I'm confused how there could be an issue with my card, the same card that I'd used every day since making the booking, the same card that hostelclub were able to take money out of, suddenly has an issue with it.

This is ridiculous service and I demanded a refund and compensation for the cost of the booking as the bare minimum, because I've now had to book something where prices have gone up because I'm booking on the day at the hotel in an expensive city as a university student living on a budget. I checked my spam - nothing, no email.

I have done my best to help you in this situation. I am trying to help you as much as I can, I have offered to refund your money because it is obviously not your fault, and we are not going to charge you money for a service that we have not given you as we should have. And we have a very strict policy on refunds.
The hotel made a series of mistakes, which has led us to this situation. I cannot take responsibility for a mistake we did not make.

I have been scammed too, do not book from this website, they confirmed the reservation and when I arrived to the hostel they did not have any reservation under my name. Of course they charged me the fee, I have been trying to contact them and never replied to me. AVOID THIS WEBSITE

Booked hostel gatto d Oro hostel via hostelsclub and I had to pay 40 USD for the reservation.

After a couple of days they said they would change me to wow hostel because it is from the same owner and gatto d Oro hostel is closed duo to covid.

I asked for a refund and they didn't do it.

These guys are scammers. Don't get into this hostel and don't use hostelsclub

Scam scam scam. Booked for a hostel and when I arrived they never received the booking or the reservation and I was left to leave the town because everything was fully booked. However, they still charge the booking fee and send a confirmation. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO USE THIS SITE!

I booked my NYE Budapest trip month before I even had to go, only to find out 10 days before NYE that they didn’t book my stay. Now my trip is ruined because there are no free hotels. Not to mention that I already booked my transport which tickets are not refundable.

I did a mistake with reservation and the Hostel in amstredam and the staff of Hostels Club resolve my problem fast and with kindness.They help me without lost money and time.

I'm a passionate traveller, and I booked my hostel through Hostelsclub.com for my first time a whitel ago. I would definitely use it considering that I had some good discounts as well.

Customer care is really good and the staff is very kind. I even found some rooms that were less expensive on their website than on other websites.

Booked a hostel in Cuba and few minutes later received email from the hostel informing they were full. HostelsClub.com provided neither alternative accommodation nor refund. Another hostel we booked sent us to a different and awful place so we had to manage to get another hostel late in the night. Reservations No. 2217307 and 2217288. Customer service emailed me telling they would refund me but they never have. First and last time I use HostelsClub.com

I found the same rooms listed in Venice as were listed on the other portals, but Hostelsclub had them cheeper!

Very helpful staff. They do for you half of your work.

I have used this site several times. Every hostel I went to was cool (I chose the top rated ones), the prices are competitive.
Every time I had to mail their support they were very helpful.
