Four stars?
When we booked the room, we did it becouse it was a four star hotel, the pictures of the economy rooms looked good, and we didn't want a worn down two star experience, but that is what we unfortunately got. How a four star hotel can sell rooms like this is not to my understanding.
You can hear everything going on, and everyone talking in the hallway. Very worn down furniture with broken of corners and dirt in the corners of the windows. A broken shower where the water came out places it shouldn't, and the shower door was hard and difficult to close. The breakfastroom has an amazing wiew over the ruins, so remember your camere, but the breakfast itself is mostly cakes, it had hard scrambled eggs, cold cooked eggs and amazingly, dry cucumber. Coffee was good, but beware there is a max of 2 coffee per person for breakfast. Staff was friendly and location is right next to the entrance to the Pompeii ruins. Most of the issues with the room we noticed in the morning as we spendt the day sightseeing and came back late after a late dinner. Had we stayed here longer we would have complained, and if the staff had asked, we would have told them. But we are glad it was only one night, and that we had another great hotel experience in Pompeii before we continued our travel
