Stopped working after a few uses
Stop working after only a couple of uses.. I used to love their brand but the Pulse solo giving up so fast, I'm not sure anymore.
UPDATE : after advice from customer service, it seems that there was a way to click the recharge into place and now it seems to work! Answered my email very fast and are there to find a solution quickly. Thank you!

Terrible Experience. Avoid.
First of all, it took almost a month for me to receive the product, due to the Canada Post strikes at the time. I understand this was out of your control, but you people sent me an email asking me to review the product before I had even received it, which rubbed me the wrong way. Once I finally received the product, it caused me pain upon first use. When I inquired about a refund, I was told I could exchange the toy for another product. Another toy that will end up hurting me again? No thank you. Honestly, a disappointing experience all around. I would look elsewhere for toys.

With regards to your request for a refund, our returns and refund policy is shown on our website, but I apologise if you missed this, or didn't feel it was clear enough. We had asked for more information so we could better understand the issue, and if you had replied to us, we would have been happy to work with you to fix the problem.
We were still trying to help resolve this situation but when you stop replying to our emails, there is very little we can do.
I am sorry you are disappointed but I am not sure what you expected us to do.

used product / company refused fix
Received used / opened product. Weeks of email and they refused to help, once saying they don't take products back, then change story to returns are sent to another site. I would love to post the entire email transcript of our back and forth to show the companies response as no doubt they will respond to this review claiming I am incorrect. I would stay away from any company selling items like this where the package does not arrive in a plastic wrapped sealed container.
I wish this site would allow images so I could show readers exactly what was received and the email transcripts and their responses to show readers exactly the true nature of this company.

Hi Gary,
As was explained to you very clearly you did NOT receive a used item. Our products are made with body safe silicone which is very soft and can attract static dust from packaging in the factory. You could not have received a used item as any faulty returns are sent to a separate warehouse, and disposed of, they don't come in contact with the shipping side at all.
Despite this we DID offer you a replacement which you refused twice, we then offered a refund if you returned the item (even though we would not usually provide them on opened items), you refused to return them.
I feel calling us uncooperative for asking you to return items, is unfair, especially given you then opened a chargeback with your bank, keeping the products AND the money.

Neat
It's nice but more for niche uses rather than daily. The vibrations are fine, great even, but the overall weight makes the handsfree experience difficult unless your willy is a strongman when hard.
The plate is positioned in the perfect spot and does not press hard when used properly and none of the vibration patterns are overstimulating.
Girthier folk may have a little issue getting it to stay on, is probably the only other downside from the weight.
Cleaning is easy and while the operation may feel a little delayed and clunky at first, it's wonderful once you figure it out.
Overall I give it a 8/10, with 2 points being docked for the weight and girth issues.

I had problems with a product I bought from Hot Octopuss. I contacted Support and spoke with Aura, who promptly attended to my predicament. A replacement product was sent within a week. I will gladly buy from them again.

Quick Resolution
Contacted customer support due to charging issue. Was assisted by Aura who was awesome in trying to get things fixed. She tried to assist with diagnosing the issue but in the end the device just needed to be replaced. Aura was quick to get everything setup and shipped out.

I've owned three of these devices. They are one of the BEST toys that I have ever purchased .... when they work!!! NONE of my three lasted more than several months. For the price, I anticipate that they are going to last for AT LEAST a year or more!!!
When functioning normally, it is THE BEST device for transitioning the penis from flaccid to rigid in an exceptionally short time.

When I purchased it around 2 months…
When I purchased it around 2 months ago, I had problem charging it, I called support who told me the plug "in the old model" has to be pushed in "really hard" to get contact and charge.
It worked for 2 months and now it is completely unchargeable, no matter how hard I push the plug in. For a product costing this much I was hoping for more then 2 month function.
I am not sure if they sold me an old Solo (I did buy it at their site) or if there is really a new one in the solo line, but I am extremely disappointed with it.
UPDATE 6/14/25
hotoctopuss customer service immediately solved the issue and replaced my faulty unit.
Of note, I never complained of the solo itself, I have been very happy with it while it worked and look forward for the one in the mail

Thank you for your review. I am very sorry for any misunderstanding but you have the newest model, which is the one that requires a firmer push. When we originally gave you the advice you seemed happy you had gotten it charging.
I am not sure why you thought you had an older model but as I explained previously the older model had a thin co-axial style cable with a very fine pin connecter, so we changed to the jack style as it was more reliable.
We are trying to arrange to send you a replacement, I am just awaiting your reply to my email, with your up to date address, so we know where to send the replacement.

Thank you for your review. I am sorry you have found the JETT isn't enjoyable, it is our lowest priced and most basic penis toy. The Nobra twincharger is a $300 product, and runs off either a 12v battery or the mains. It is not at all a comparable product. Of course something that runs of AA batteries won't provide the same power as mains.
However, we do offer a 45 day satisfaction policy on products purchased from our website, but I can't see any contact from you with regards to this. I have sent you an email from customer.support@hotoctopuss.com, so we can try to find a solution to this for you, perhaps looking at a different product that might suit you better.

I love love loved this toy but......
I love love loved this toy. Having replaceable batteries was great as you don't have to wait for it to charge. It gets me there faster than any other toy I've tried.
My car was broken in to and the bag it was in was stolen. I thought I'd order a replacement- until I saw the current price. When I came back to the Hot Octopuss site I couldn't believe the cost of the different items they carry. For another $15 I can buy a corded Hitachi. I had to replace other items due to the theft and I was able to get a Kiiroo Titan for about the same price with the discounts I earned. It's a full length insertable toy and has 9 vibrating bullets! It's also interactive. Things are worth what people will pay, I will not pay these prices.

Unfortunately, costs are going up accross the board and at some point we have to pass those on to the customer. Although, the Price of our JETT hasn't changed since it was released.
You are making comparisons to other products that are not the same at all, and declaring you got the for much cheaper because of discounts you earned, so if you compared the full price, I doubt it would be the same situation.
Again, I am sorry you had to replace stolen items, but I am glad you liked the JETT while you had it.
